We will be doing VS. battles for the MCU every week and will be using the Winners and Losers to create an accurate power tier list created by some of it's biggest fans (you). So don't forget to VOTE and after voting for a Winner please include a comment on which power tier, both the Winner and Loser should reside within. Also, see below for more details on the characters abilities as well as for a list of available power tiers to choose from.

Don't forget to put which Tier group you think Star-Lord and Falcon belong to in your posts.

So, without further delay here is this week's match up

Vs

FALCON

FALCON

- Flight: Using his specialized winged jetpack, Sam Wilson is able to fly at very fast subsonic speeds, but with an enhanced degree of maneuverability and agility similar to that of an actual falcon. The impressive agility afforded by the jetpack and his own knowledge on flying enabled him to avoid automatic fire from an Insight Quinjet and the shots of the Insight Helicarriers' main weaponry. Besides enhancing Falcon's mobility, the EXO-7 Falcon can also increase the force generated by some of Falcon's physical strikes via the increased momentum and acceleration created by his jetpack, as well as using the wings as makeshift striking weapons. While flying, he was able to lift up and carry off people like Jasper Sitwell and Captain America. He was even able to generate enough force to knock back Iron Man while fighting him at Flughafen Leipzig-Halle.

- Enhanced Vision: The EXO-7's goggles allow Wilson to view in multiple spectrums and see objects that are either too far away or too small to be seen by the naked eye.

- Expert Acrobat: Wilson is an expert acrobat capable of withstanding constant equilibrium shifting during flight. Many times during his battle with HYDRA, Wilson had to couple his acrobatic skills with his flight maneuvers to avoid being shot down from the sky.

- Expert Marksman: Wilson is a highly skilled expert marksman, as he has shown great accuracy with his retractable sidearms and U.S. military firearms. During the Battle of Wakanda, Falcon shot down numerous Outriders from mid-air.

- Expert Martial Artist: As a former member of the United States Air Force, Wilson is highly trained and skilled in hand to hand combat. Wilson's fighting style include a combination of firearm improvisation, flight maneuvers such as swooping and aerial grappling, and modern army combatives. Wilson's modern army combatives derive elements from Muay Thai, American Boxing, and Taekwondo. He was able to subdue HYDRA operatives and hold his own against STRIKE leader Brock Rumlow, though he was unable to defeat him.

- Expert Tactician: Wilson has shown capabilities in planing special operations, as he was able to help Captain America and his team strategize the plan to destroy the Insight Helicarriers and unmask HYDRA. He was able to react and respond to Ant-Man's unprecedented appearance and was able to perfectly counter his unique attacks after only viewing them momentarily.

- Master Pilot: Wilson displays the utmost skill when flying with his

- EXO wings: He is capable of performing many advanced and complicated maneuvers while in midair, without losing focus on his objectives, targets, or pursuers.

STAR-LORD

- Superhuman Durability: Due to his paternal heritage from Ego, Quill holds considerable amounts of supernatural durability and endurance to the point that he even was able to physically withstand the exposure to the energy from an Infinity Stone. He held the Power Stone for a short length of time without dying, and was able to harness its power when sharing the burden with the other Guardians. Quill himself also noted that he was able to survive numerous injuries while working for the Ravagers, though none were implausible enough to raise any suspicion. Later, Quill managed to survive a shockwave from Thanos using the Infinity Gauntlet and quickly recovered.

- Expert Combatant: Quill is considerably skilled in close-quarters combat, both in armed and hand-to-hand combat. He was able to go up against Gamora, the finest assassin trained by Thanos, in a fist fight. He was able to easily take down multiple Nova Corps, Kyln, and Sakaaran soldiers by striking them with the blasters. Quill even managed to subdue and hold the superhuman Spider-Man at gun point during their brief skirmish, as well as dodge blasts sent at him by Thanos using the Power Stone and even plant an explosion on Thanos himself, although he did had aid from Doctor Strange's use of Eldritch Magic to conjure platforms.

- Expert Tactician: Quill is an exceptional tactician, as shown when after finding Iron Man's plan to suck, Quill took the lead and made his own plan to stop Thanos and was nearly successfull until he broke the group’s hold on him after going into rage on learning Gamora’s death.

- Expert Marksman: Quill is well-versed in the use of weapons from all over the galaxy, but he prefers using his own Quad Blasters, which he is shown to be skilled with. He also handled a Kyln Guard's rifle, a weapon he was not believed to have even seen before, and easily shot and destroyed a drone with it. He even accurately shot Spider-Man during their skirmish and trapped him long enough to hold him at gun point.

- Skilled Acrobat: Quill is highly athletic and has high level dexterity, reflexes, and coordination, which notably allows him to do parkour and free running. His extreme reflexes allowed him to effortlessly catch a small lunging creature trying to bite him while he was wearing head phones and seemingly distracted by his music. He was able to leap several feet across a chasm, perform a combat roll while sliding along his ship directly into the cockpit.

- Star-Lord Uniform & Helmet: Quill wears a helmet that shows threats on HUD and has internal comm systems. The helmet allows him to breathe in the vacuum of space. When he presses the button on the side of his head, a light blue energy wraps around his face and the back of his head, and becomes the helmet. His Star-Lord uniform protects Quill from the effects of absolute zero temperature of deep space as well as its vacuum.

- Jet Boot Attachments: Quill has jets that he attaches to his boots to make jet boots, while he activates them with buttons on his leg. The jet attachments can rotate in any direction and can be used to propel him through the air at great speed, though they do not allow for sustained flight and only allow him to jump and briefly float for several feet. They can also be used in flying in deep space due to the lack of gravity and weight removing the limitations they experience in environments of normal gravity. Quill improvised the technology as weapons by attaching one of them on a hostile and activated them, which sent the target flying backwards.

- Quad Blasters: Quill carries dual direct energy weapons in the form of handguns. They each have two triggers for the index and middle finger for the top and bottom barrel respectively, with the bottom barrel shooting lightning and the top barrel shooting fiery bolts or blasts. While the fire-like blast on the top barrel is lethal, killing its live targets on impact and even sends the target flying backwards with great force, the bottom barrel produces streaks of non lethal electricity to electrocute its targets and incapacitate them. He was even shown striking enemies with the barrels while shooting the lethal setting, which allowed him to hit harder and harm stronger opponents. While fighting Thanos on Titan, he demonstrated being able to load specialized projectile attachments onto the barrel of his weapons, one of being a stunning device powerful enough to cause Thanos pain.

Star-Lord has a superhuman physiology and better weapons. It isn't certain, but I think he definitely has the edge.

A good match up but once again terrain plays a big factor.

Both can fly with their gadgets. Falcon is probably faster in flight but needs more space to turn - although his aerial combat moves are very effective ( e.g. the flying kicks he uses in Infinity War and Civil War including some good short range flight attacks, - although this is with an open sky above). I think that with an open sky and no cover Falcon would prevail but if there was any cover at all then Peter would find a way to win.

Both have ranged attacks, including guns. Peter wouldn't be as skilled in a hand to hand fight but he's more cunning and a better tactician. Falcon does have Redwing, but I think Pete would disable him pretty quickly.

Give Pete his usual array of gadgets and a battlefield that isnt completely open sky and a bit of cover and I think Peter takes this.

In close quarters Star Lord takes it. Falcon might be more skilled in pure hand to hand but Star Lord's gadgets and skill using his blasters in close quarters give him the win.

This fight is probably going to be in the air though and Falcon's faster/more agile and his machine guns/missiles are just as dangerous as the attacks we've seen Star Lord use whilst flying (mostly just his blasters). With that in mind I vote Falcon.

Star-Lord in a laugher.

Star Lord, mostly due to technology. Though his genetic makeup likely gives him an edge as well.

Petey is easily rattled and can be thrown off his game by a quick witted guy like Sam. Falcon for the W.

Star Lord. And i think he's street tier.

Another tough one, but had to go with Star Lord, he has is half celestial and has advanced technology at his disposal.

This match is pretty even and could realistically go either way. Both are basically street tier, since neither uses full body armor or is overly enhanced. Also Ego's planet is gone so Star Lord is basically mortal.

I'd only give Star Lord a slight edge just based on tech that he has available, and the Milano. Gadgets gone and hand to hand though Sam is still a trained soldier.

This may be the closest match since Cap/Black Panther.

I honestly don't think this is a hard match-up. Starlord has more advanced tech and will win. He was giving Mark XL Iron Man trouble. Something I don't think Falcon could do even for a second.

After watching Starlord in Infinity War. He seems highly capable of handling himself against powerhouses. During the fight between him and the Avengers he basically soloed the fight and still made it a draw.

His unpredictabilty is god tier.
