But, Nightwing gets the shock of his life when, as he unmasks Red X, he finds an old childhood friend from his past, a young man named Jason Todd, under that mask! Worse yet, when Mandragora double-crosses Todd by hiring the female assassin Sylph (Stephanie Romanov) to eliminate him, it'll be Dick and Jason who must join forces to put the hooks on this big albino human whale pronto! Segment 46: The Misadventures of Robin and Spoiler
(Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown finally get their own damn series showcase!)

Voice Cast:

Tim Drake/Robin: Matthew Valencia
Stephanie Brown/Spoiler: Hynden Walch

Episode One: Welcome To The Big Leagues, Tim and Stephanie!

Well folks, it has been some time since the events of many of the Batman shows, and of the Hype! fanfic Young Justice: TAS. And boy, Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown have been through a lot, from Tim's nightmarish dealings with the Joker in the Batman: ROTJ flashback to Steph's dealing with her father, the Riddler wannabe the Cluemaster, They've been through it all! Now they face one of the toughest decisions of their lives, growing up, as a 19-year-old Robin and 18-year-old Spoiler deal with stepping out of the shadows of their mentors and becoming bona fide full superheroes! But one thing's still in question: Will these two lovebirds ever get married someday? We'll see!

Episode Two: Brains and Brawna

Remember that overgrown daughter of Farmer Brown's, Emmylou Brown (Dina Sherman), from the Adventures of Batman and Robin some years back? Well, she's back and on her own, this time as a brand-new Robin villainess named Brawna! Think of her as a female version of Bane, without all that freakish musculature and all that Venom pumped in the veins! And, when she comes looking for a rematch with her cousin Stephanie from an episode of Young Justice TAS, She finds herself dealing with Robin instead! Girlfriend, that is not Batgirl you're dealing with there!

Episode Three: Tigress, Tigress, Burning Bright

Paula Brooks (Kristen Bell), the circus acrobat-turned-teen model protege of Eve Eden from the last Nightwing Showcase, has returned, but in Robin and Spoiler's own Showcase looking to score with Robin again in her new identity as the slinky, tiger-striped, crossbow-wielding heroine called the Tigress! And whatever Paula wants for herself, Paula gets, much to the dismay of Robin's current squeeze, Spoiler! My advice to Miss Brooks, watch out for Miss Brown when you meet her!

Episode Four: Gearhead

Now, if I can take the new Batman villain called Gearhead (Will Friedle) out of the Jeff Matsuda Batman continuity, and put him in the established Bruce Timm continuity, this story would go like this: When Tim and Steph go visit their friend Phoebe Monroe (Jennifer Hale) and her mom Penelope (Heather Locklear) at their home, they find themselves in a situation where both Sweet Sixteen and the former Penelope Pitstop are being stalked by Gearhead, a high-tech race-car driver looking to make a name for himself!. But, who is Robert Sutton, and what is his connection to a certain rocket-riding stuntwoman named Roxanne (Charity James)? And, what's his relationship with Phoebe Monroe, her mother Penelope and her aunt Paige (Sela Ward)?

Episode Five: Scream

Stephanie Brown finds herself in a real bad situation, as she deals with Hawk and Dove's rocker-chick nemesis, Kestrel (Gwen Stefani) when she visits Nightwing's home turf of Bludhaven for one of her concerts. But, even Kestrel is no match for the coming of the terrifying sonic witch Silver Banshee (Rose McGowan), forcing the two women to join together to take her down!

Attention Hypesters:

The DC Showcase is coming back in June!

Originally scheduled for February, because I'm waiting for Justice League to finish up, the DC Animated Showcase will return in June to an all-new format based on the "One Year Later" storyline from DC Comics - done in animated form following the events of the JLU two-part series finale!

Also, because of this, the various superheroes and musical groups of the Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network universes will officially become part of the DC Animated family, and will be interspersed within all DC superhero fanfics as well. Could there be a return of the Justice Guild and Seaboard City as well based on these characters?

The fun begins in June with "Young Justice Unlimited: Series Two." Look for it!
