Clearly I am doing something wrong.
Could someone post the process of posting a pic from internet here.

Doing it that way without first using a hosting site to host the picture is called HOTLINKING.

Hotlinking
Hotlinking is when you directly post an image from a website. Many websites see this as you “stealing” their bandwidth and will sometimes retaliate by automatically replacing the intended image with another when it’s posted.
