This thread deserves a bump since we have a new Batman movie and can see his new suit in all its glory. My rankings for now…

Tentatively, I'm gonna say this ranking has held firm even in the wake of The Batman.

1. 89 Suit- Just difficult for me to put anything above this because of how much of a radical departure this was for superhero costumes at the time, and how much it has influenced almost every live action Batsuit in its wake.
2. BvS-Not crazy about the movie, but that suit is amazing.

Quick explanation for The Batman’s placement, I like fantastical Batman more than anything and that suit is on the complete opposite of the spectrum. I really don’t care for DIY Batman.

My logic, 89, TB, and TDK / TDKR are the truly only groundbreaking on screen bat suits. Each one either changed the game, or actually re-invented something of note. Or increased performance for the actor, to properly portray the character. The rest were either good derivatives, or variants, or in alot of other cases over thought, over refined garbage.
