Ridley Scott Acquires Werewolf Spec Script!

We learned of some interesting news this evening as we were tipped off that Ian Jeffers, who wrote both James Wans' drama-thriller DEATH SENTENCE and Sylvain White's upcoming adaptation of CASTLEVANIA, has sold an original script to legendary director-produce Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner). Here's the juicy tid-bit... apparently the film is a werewolf project! No other details were revealed, but it sounds like we might have something pretty huge to look forward to in the coming years.

I love how everybody loves the idea that Ridley Scott is doing a wereworlf flick. But if his name weren't attached , the first comment would be "This is going to suck. from the writer of that crapfest Castlevania ".

Crowe To Play Werewolf In Ridley Scott Movie

Oscar winner Russell Crowe is set to play a werewolf in a new movie to be directed by his mentor Ridley Scott.

Scott has landed a script written by horror scribe Ian Jeffers, and is planning to take it to the big screen, starring regular collaborator Crowe, reports Bloody-disgusting.com.

The pair has worked together on a number of projects, including Academy Award-winning epic Gladiator; and they are currently preparing to shoot a Robin Hood movie, in which Crowe will play the famous outlaw as well as his nemesis the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Now i know that IMDB has a bad name but it's their message boards that mess up stuff. Their news reports are very often solid.
