Scene 1

We open onto the Daily Bugle as it stands pristine against the horizon of L A.

Through its bright halls we come to rest on Peter Parker, his hair is shorter and he looks even more muscular than he did the last time we saw him. However he still has the same look of arrogance and the possible homicidal tendencies we have come to expect.

J J Jameson sits looking over Parkers file. JJ has the appearance of a man who has built his way from nothing to editor in chief


JJ
( Lets out a grunt of approval)

Well this is very impressive Parker

( pause)

For someone of your station.


Peter’s face goes red

( trying to control his temper)

My station?

JJ

Your father being a nutcase and everything

( under breath)

Thought it may have damaged you!


Peter

( forces a smile)

No all the cogs are in place.


JJ

Then welcome aboard

Peter grins and walks out of the building

The calm voice of the suit creeps into his head.

Voice

That went well.

Peter

What an illiterate hack!

Voice

Did I mention I used to be in the photo business?


Peter

Yes several times

Voice

Shall we go and see our future wife?


Peter does not answer as he walks away

Scene 2


Gwen Stacey as blond and beautiful as ever sleeps on a large bed as Peter walk through the door carrying a newspaper.

Gwen sits up

Gwen

Morning Pete


Peter

Right back at you babe

Gwen
( spotting the paper)


Is that the paper?


Peter

Yeah.


Gwen

Did you make the front page.


Peter

Urmm yeah you could say that.


He glances at it, The paper reads local crime lord found dead all vitals removed.

Peter taps it with his finger and passes it to her.

Gwen

( goes teary eyed)

Ohh Peter I am so proud of you.

Peter walks forward as Gwen pulls him into a tight hug. The paper slides from her grasp. We can now she the front page has changed it reads local Businessman saved by unknown hero.


Peter
( As he kisses Gwen)

have I told you how radiant your looking today

Gwen

Do you think its time we?


Peter

I think so.

Her hands slowly begin to unbutton his shirt as his breathing gets more and more rapid. Suddenly his mobile rings. Peter lets out a roar of irritation

Peter

( walks into the kitchen and screams into the phone)

What!?

A sound comes from the other end


Peter

Oh its you Cletus.

More sound comes from the other end.

Peter

Well what do you mean you cant get Mordo to meet me?


The voice on the other end gabbles in a hurt tone.


Peter

Sorry I did not mean to imply that it was all your fault.


The voice begins to speak at hyper fast speed.


Peter

No I don’t want to meet a man with a goldfish bowl on his head. And what this about a Scorpion in the middle of the street.



Several minutes later Peter walks in


Peter

Sorry baby I have to go.

Gwen

Ok honey you know best.

He leaps out of the window. A glossy red substance begins to coat his body as he soars across the sky.


End of scene 2

Scene 3


The Scorpion stands surrounded by police. Silvery blue armour adorns him as he swings a huge tree trunk like spiked tale in a menacing arc of death. Peter lands in front of him, his symbiotic mask cover his face.


Peter

( calm and jovial)

You’re an impressive little cockroach.


Scorpion

( slow and mechanical voice)


Scorpion.

Peter

Definitely a Cockroach.

A stream of energy shoots out of the Scorpions tail Peter dodges it, the beam of white light strikes a pedestrian he barley has time to scream as he is cooked alive, organs and bones drop to ground.

Scorpion

(Confused)

Fast


Peter charges him they stagger back into a building, shrapnel and glass smash around them as they punch and kick each other Peter drives his fist into his opponents face. The large tale impales Peter through the back blood spurts from the gaping wound.

(Dragging himself up Scorpions tale)

I could use people like you.


Scorpion

( begins to deliver a harsh beating)

Peter is smacked within an inch of his life, bleeding , sweating profusely he slides to the ground. The Scorpion advances on him beating him with his massive tale

Peter suddenly jerks up and grabs Scorpions face The Symbiote bulges up his fingers flowing into the Scorpion

Scorpion

( Panic stricken)

What are you doing?!


Peter

Giving my friend a new body.

The Scorpion collapses onto the ground convulsing, morphing between armour and the grey T shirt that the suits human incarnation has chosen to wear, a tie and leather jacket are seen briefly

Peter

Come on buddy, come on.

The Symbiote rises to its feet fully restored to corporeal form

Man

This is amazing.

( discharges a beam similar to scorpion from his fingers.)

So much power!

( his eyes suddenly snap open)

What?

He looks down his chest is starting to collapse ,liquidating into red slush


( screams in frustration)

Noooo!

His entire body begins to fall apart


( still screaming, ranting at the scorpions inability to contain his essence

****!, you ****


He finally breaks apart and drags his Symbiote form over to Peters leg.


Symbiote/ voice

Help me.


Peter staggers away with the suit. He does not even look at the disgusting mess that was the Scorpion.

Scene 4

We see a large and expensive car, a man in his mid to late twenties with slicked back hair, he has a cold ,calculating face. This is Edward Reilly. Drumming his fingers on the window pane as he spots Gwen as she walks down the street. He moves his car into gear and follows her down the street.




Reilly

( talking to himself)

How could she do this to me? All I did was kiss that one girl and she goes and leaves me, It just isn’t fair.


He drives further still uttering his lamentations of the hopeless romantic.


His phone suddenly rings


Reilly

Hello.


The voice on the other end sounds tired and drawn.


Reilly

Mr Toomes how is the work going?

Toomes

Good just a few minor adjustments in the symbiosis and the design should be perfect.

Reilly

( still watching Gwen)

Yeah she is really something.


Toomes

I am sorry sir?


Reilly

Nothing keep me posted

Reilly hangs up the phone and drives off after Gwen

Reilly


Soon I will have everything.

He smiles with a sinister serpentine gleam in his eyes.

Scene 5

The villain known as Shriek is sitting on a church roof surrounded by sacks money. A pearl necklace hangs from her pale neck. She is fairly pretty long brown hair cascades down her shoulders.

She turns and sees Peter without his suit on stands next to her.

Peter

Its been a long day.

Shriek

You want me to give you the money?

Peter yep or you and me are going to have to get painfully intermit.

Shriek

You look so much sexier without the costume.


Peter

Thanks

Shriek

( sounds so impossibly loved up)

And that cute little nose.

Peter

Yeah alight now your just being creepy.

Shriek

Did you know I can control peoples emotions


She stretches out her hand telepathically removes his belt.


Peter

Stop it!

She suddenly feels herself being thrown backwards onto the ground, glancing up she sees his muscles ripple beneath his shirt as he bends over her

Peter

Now when are you going to take this stuff back

Shriek

Now.

Peter

Good and don’t try to physically seduce me again.

Shriek

Sure whatever you say Mr Parker.


As he jumps off the roof.

Shriek


( Softly)

Adrian Toomes a tall bony man in his mid sixties stands with his work colleague Trask a man in his late fifties.


They stare down into tank filled nearly to bursting point with bubbling liquid, it pulses with an unnatural life.


Toomes

isn’t it perfect?

The Ultimate protection however this is merley the prototype the design is flawed

No just some meteor rocks with some red and black sludge seeping out of it.

They look at each other with worry in there eyes
