Some of you on twitter may (or may not) have seen tweets the past couple days regarding something called #OperationBlueMilk. Well, the news is now out that it's an Anthology book titled "Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View" celebrating 40 years of Star Wars with 40 stories. The authors involved have forgone any compesation for their stories and instead their proceeds will be donated to First Book (a nonprofit that provides books, learning materials, etc... to educators and organizations that serve children in need)

Here's the full story on it:

Great Idea.
Love the title.

That its for charity definitely means I will buy this instead of borrowing it from the library. Nice author list.

Bumping this old thread back up again, because they've announced that "From a Certain Point of View" will also be done for Empire's Strike's Back. It will be released November 10, 2020, and (like the 1st book) author's have forgone compensation with their proceeds going once more to the charity/non-profit First Book

Full list of authors involved will be officially released next week, but many have already let it known via twitter that they've participated. So some (but clearly not all) of the participants include:

Karen Strong
Emily Skrutskie
Mark Oshiro
Lilliam Rivera
Rob Hart
Mike Chen
Amy Ratcliffe
Gary Whitta
