An evening of chaos had been enough to deal with, but now, literal piles of corpses had been laid to waste all across the wedding's floor. And the attacker responsible for their senseless murders had only needed a few seconds to pull it off. Whoever he was and whatever stake he had in committing a small massacre on Sal Maroni's guests didn't even matter at the moment. Simply stopping the madness that he had unleashed had suddenly become Batman's number one priority.
Leaping directly at the man calling himself "Bane", The Dark Knight somersaulted over one of the downed tables and slammed the heels of both his boots into the behemoth's chest. But instead of being knocked onto the ground ground, his opponent had barely even staggered. Producing a few more batarangs into his palm as he landed, Batman slipped them between each of his fingers and sliced away at Bane's abdomen, hoping to bring about even a semblance of suffering to the towering man that stood before him. But no reaction, not even one of mere amusement, came about. It was as if the monster was incapable of feeling anything - be it remorse for his victims, or physical pain.
He growled, stabbing into Bane's forearms and thrusting his knee hard into the chest. Several people had just died, and Batman already felt like he could have prevented it if he had acted faster. All of his frustrations were about to be taken out on the man responsible.
"I don't know where the hell you came from, but you just gave me a reason to hurt you."
"No one else dies tonight!"
