This thought randomly popped into my mind, using only the actors/characters who have been adapted thus far for various DC tv shows, what would be your perfect casting and set of tv-verse?

Mine would be:

Justin Hartley - Green Arrow

Katie Cassidy - Black Canary

Dina Meyer - Oracle

Grant Gustin - The Flash

Tom Welling - Superman

Melissa Benoist - Supergirl

Serinda Swan - Zatanna

Adrianne Palicki - Wonder Woman
(I love Lynda Carter as WW, she was perfection but I think Adrianne would’ve made a great new WW if the failed NBC series had the right team behind it)

Matt Ryan - Constantine

Danielle Panabaker - Lois Lane

Jeremy Jordan - Jimmy Olsen

Tyler Hoechlin - Batman

David Mazouz - Robin

Chyler Leigh - Batwoman

Sean Pertwee - Alfred

Morena Baccarin - Catwoman

Stephen Amell - Aquaman

Mehcad Brooks - John Henry Irons

I like this game! I got really REALLY into, and pulled from absolutely everything, including animated stuff which, technically, is portraying a character on TV, right?

CW | JUSTICE★LEAGUE
Superheroes from different cities join together to battle incredible world ending threats, while trying to maintain their superhero careers and civilian lives at the same time. Each episode deals with a different hero or combination of heroes who need help from the League with their villains, personal lives or abilities. No matter how big or small the problem, the League is there.

Main Cast

I know it can't ever happen but my fantasy would be for them to do 3 shows on HBO with the same cinematic actors.
A Superman, a Wonder Woman, and a batman show.

I'm pretty happy with the one we have now tbh

How about this one?

latest

And throw in more solo shows outside of the ones we got.

But yeah, I figure you meant live-action.

That's my exact fantasy as well. I'd prefer that to the DCEU

As far as it can be from the Arrowverse and The CW

On HBO, treated seriously and with the same budget as Game of Thrones

If I had to pick, if it held the same continuity. No rebooting anything for me.
They could really build depth to characters that just isn't possible through a 2 and a half or even 3 hour flick.
Unlike the CW( I THINK I'm right about this. Not sure) more people watch HBO and with the ability to have it be hbo quality it could be amazing.
They could do team ups at certain points. Maybe have a 4th show " Justice League".
Oh well. :(

My ideal universe combines HBO shows and movies.

I like the DCEU it's just disappointing, I know that it could be higher quality. I think we can all admit that. I love MOS and BVS but most of us can name 5+ easy things that could make the movies better

Hmmm... Batman on HBO sounds tempting. Wouldn't want any other series like that though unless they were all different and unique and fit the character. Stepping outside of what's been done previously, my outline would be something like:

Batman on HBO, 13 episodes a year. Pretty much a live action darker version of BTAS. Karl Urban stars.

Superman on NBC, 23 episodes a year. A true procedural using a news team to intersect profound storytelling, police, rescue and Superman, using the anthologic power of a procedural to put Superman into the smallest human stories while also dealing with serial arcs of varied villains (instead of trying to squeeze it all into one episode). Tyler Hoechlin stars.

Wonder Woman on CW, 23 Episodes a year. Basically take the best parts of the CWDCTV shows and put them together. A female lead with the power and charm like Supergirl. Fight choreography and inspired original characters like Arrow Season 1, the world building and deep comic book catalog like Flash and the relentless crossing over of Legends of Tomorrow. Talented young newcomer stars.

If CW wants more shows give them Teen Titans and maybe Zatanna and/or Aquaman that are all in the typical CW fashion. If HBO wants another show give them that "Silence of the Lambs meets the Matrix" version of the Flash with his rogues gallery as truly deranged geniuses. If NBC wants another show, give them Justice Society of America.

Leave Justice League as a big team up movie every other year with huge larger-than-life conflicts that are understandable within the context of the films themselves, but are made even more awesome in light of the information available within the TV shows. Leave some properties e.g. Green Lantern, Suicide Squad, Hawkman/Hawkgirl, Justice Buddies, etc as purely movie properties, but the core heroes, the ones with extensive rogues galleries and dozens of story arcs, they need and deserve TV time.

If the Teen Titans/Titans ever end up as a TV show, I hope a lot of effort is put into it. Marv Wolfmans Teen Titans run is one of the best DC comic runs ever and The Judas Contract is one of the best DC stories ever.

I think between Marv Wolfman's run and the Young Justice cartoon, no show will be without excuse for top notch TV-ready material. I probably wouldn't want Berlanti to handle it, but it wouldn't be out of place on the CW.

The prospect of a CW Wonder Woman show is scary. Still having nightmares about that failed NBC pilot.

The perfect DC TVverse is in Animation. The universe that was created on the Young Justice show is perfect.

I'd love to be able to have confidence in Kreisenberg to do it right since he says he loves NTT.

I'm surprised Justice League and Unlimited stopped and nothing on its plave( or is there?)
Did those not get the ratings? I didn't see all of it. I thought they had some really cheesy stuff but it's a cartoon ,so I shouldn't complain.
I'd love to see an animated reboot done with origin stories.

Animation is still king for DC, which says a lot, the more you think about it. It's not a coincidence.

That said, I'd think a CW WW would be more like Supergirl/Arrow/Flash than NBC. Certainly not high art, but less likely to have her talk about big breasted dolls and crying herself to sleep. Though who knows, they might try to bring Justin Breuning in. He's CW-ish.
