Hot Toys Previews WandaVision Scarlet Witch and Vision Figures

Somehow there's something lacking here. It doesn't quite capture Lizzie Olsen's likeness or the sexiness or regal look of the costume in the episode. At least it gives her the cape though.

Also I was hoping we'd get one of Wanda's comic costume from the Halloween episode.

I agree, Im not impressed. So she will not join my collection of Infinity-Thor and CivilWar-Cap. But Vision looks really awesome here!

The problem with Hot Toys, especially when making female faces, is that they seem to base it off one particular photo/ film still where the character has a certain expression (often stern or determined). But in the photo that only works because it's part of a series of stills and so your mind fills in the blanks for the rest of it, but that photo isn't necessarily representative of how the actress always looks.

What they need to do is base it off several photos or videos and get a general likeness that is instantly recognisable as the actress rather than one that is accurate to that photo they're using. In this case it needs to look more like Lizzie Olsen than just like that particular photo of Scarlet Witch. Once they've nailed Lizzie's likeness (even from non WandaVision photos) , they can work on anything specific to the film still, or not even that necessarily because we'd be satisfied with the likeness.

I think they got the likeness down pretty well. I even like the one from Civil War.
I’m wondering if they’re going to update the hair to be more like the show. I’m guessing they changed her hair fairly last minute and long after these designs were put into production
