Days of Future Past Who believes these movies are a metaphor on sexual orientions?

If Charles is gay, why was he hitting on Amy and Moira in the pub? I would think a gay man wouldn't be interested.

I think there are people that look beyond people's gender when it comes to choosing their partners. Not everyone fits into either a homo or a hetero identity, and I'm thinking it would be relatively easy for a telepath like Charles to fall for a bright person, be it man or woman.

Meh I have no issues with queer readings of the material. Since these types of relationships are never portrayed and probably won't be portrayed for a long time in film, I don't mind fans "reading between the lines" and queering relationships.
