Probably worth mentioning to Kirk is that from a legal standpoint, a forum is basically a club.

People have the right to their opinions, but not to scream them in your house if you don't want them to.

Anyone can be banned from a forum, even without a real reason. Nothing about being banned stops a person from writing a blog voicing their opinions.
