Comics World War Hulk: X-Men

It makes sense, when you consider how many of 'em have died over the years. Plus it becomes a lot easier to retrieve the bodies once they come back to life.

I guess Peter's the only one who didn't get buried in the backyard.:xmen:

God I love retconned deaths. :D

"But I brought your ashes back to Russia!"

"Not mine."

"Huh, yes they were."

"Retcon, sweetie. Start questioning it and people might not go along with it."

"Oooooooh."

He was cremated. Kitty scattered his ashes.

Or, apparently, the ashes of some large hobo.

For some strange reason, the X-men accidentally cremating a (sleeping?) hobo and dumping his ashes is hilarious in a very dark sort of way.

There was plan for a mini, actually.

The hobo was Steven Seagal's third-cousin and he'd just lose it and start beating the s**t out of mutants a la WWH.

But then they remembered Seagal doesn't usually leave any survivors so they had to drop it. Oh well.

It can't be easy finding a 6'6" 275 lb. hobo.
I like the way Peter thanked Kitty when she told him she brought his ashes back home.:yay:
