Old cast was definitely a part of DOFP's success, but I don't think it was the entire story. Reviews helped DoFP. One thing is the audience tended to like the movie. I do not think the audience dislikes this movie as much as some critics do, but reactions and word of mouth are not as good as they were for DoFP.

Why would that be? should we ask deadpool?

wolverine always has more appeal with X-men than solo.Deadpool is r rated comedy/action.the comedy was big reason for it's success
