We here at the Hype are well-known for our love of making (often redundant) lists of our film preferences. One I have not seen a list for is the Pixar films, so let's have at it!:

Incredible:
1) Wall-E
2) Inside Out
3) Toy Story 3
4) The Incredibles
5) Monsters Inc
6) Up

Lovable:
7) Ratatouille
8) Finding Nemo
9) Toy Story
10) The Incredibles 2
11) Toy Story 2

Enjoyable:
12) Finding Dory
13) Toy Story 4
14) Coco
15) Onward

Forgettable:
16) Brave
17) Cars
18) Monsters Univ
19) A Bug's Life
20) The Good Dinosaur
21) Cars 2

My rankings:
1: Toy Story 2 (it may not be the best, strictly speaking, but for me it has the most personal significance).
2: Wall-E
3: Monsters Inc.
4: Finding Nemo
5: Coco
6: Onward (I love this film: maybe it’s because I have so many siblings, I don’t know, but it’s a new favorite for me)
7: Inside Out
8: Up
9: The Incredibles
10: Toy Story
11: The Incredibles 2
12: Brave (I enjoy this one more than most people, I think: Celtic music is my jam, that’s probably why)
13: Finding Dory
14: Ratatouille
15: A Bug’s Life
16: Toy Story 4
17: Toy Story 3 (I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t like this film at all)
18: Monsters University
19: Cars
I’ve never seen Good Dinosaur or Cars 2, so I can’t remark on either of those.

1. Toy Story
2. Toy Story 2
3. Toy Story 4
5. Toy Story 3
6. A Bug's Life
7. Monster's Inc.
8. The Incredibles

And then I stop caring lol. :awesome:

Yeah, Onward was solid, but idk it felt more like a Dreamworks movie than a Pixar one to me... idk, gotta give it more time to sit with me

17: Toy Story 3 (I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t like this film at all)

HOW. MOTHERF***ING. DARE. YOU?!
lol jkjk, I get it, it's a bit sappy, but it came out at just the right time to make me cry like a damn baby

I'm not going to rank these because several of them I only watched once years ago and the odd one I haven't seen at all.

But three films rank above the rest for me: Ratatouille (my #1 Pixar film), The Incredibles, and Wall-E. Those three are spectacular. Up, The Toy Story films, and Incredibles 2 form the next tier.

Lol I love the whole concept of the film! I just really didn’t like the execution of that concept: same thing with Toy Story 4. I don’t know why they felt they had to end the Toy Story series twice, but I personally didn’t feel like either attempt worked.

I'm behind on my Pixar watching, but:

WALL-E
Finding Nemo
Toy Story 2
The Incredibles
Toy Story 3
Toy Story
Up

Monsters, Inc.
A Bug's Life

Ratatouille

1) Monsters, INC.
2) Toy Story 2
3) Toy Story
4) The Incredibles
5) Up
6) Finding Nemo
7) Toy Story 3
8) Incredibles 2
9) Coco
10) Monsters University
11) Onward
12) Finding Dory
13) Ratatouille
14) Wall-E
15) Toy Story 4
16) Inside Out (Not crazy about this one as much as others)
17) Cars
18) Bugs Life
19) Cars 3
20) Brave
21) Good Dinosaur

22) Cars 2

I don't think Pixar make bad films per se, just ones that don't resonate as much. Even their 'worst' stuff is generally better than a lot of other stuff out there.

1. Toy Story
2. Ratatouille
3. Up
4. Wall-E
5. The Incredibles

Inside Out, Monsters Inc, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3 and Finding Nemo are all great too but wouldn't make my top 5. Maybe Toy Story 3 would swap out with Incredibles from time to time...

Anything not listed I've either seen once and it's fine (Good Dinosaur) or I haven't seen at all...

1. Inside Out
2. WALL-E
3. Coco
4. Toy Story 3

11) Onward
The rest is all garbage that I wouldn't watch again.

I rewatched every Pixar movie over the past couple of months, so naturally I had to rank them. The Cars movies are still at the bottom but they're not as bad as I remember, with 3 being the best of them due to Mater's reduced role.

1. Toy Story 3
2. The Incredibles
3. Inside Out
4. Coco
5. Ratatouille
6. Toy Story 2
7. Toy Story
8. Up
9. WALL-E
10. Soul
11. Toy Story 4
12. Finding Nemo
13. Monsters, Inc.
14. Incredibles 2
15. A Bug's Life
16. Onward
17. Brave
18. Finding Dory
19. The Good Dinosaur
20. Monsters University
21. Cars 3

2. Coco
3. Toy Story 3
4. Incredibles
5. Inside Out

7. Finding Nemo
8. Wall-E
9. Monsters Inc.
10. Onward

Best:
1. Monsters Inc.
2. Toy Story
3. Finding Nemo
4. Cars

Good:
5. A Bugs life (much higher than most people)
6. Toy Story 2
7. Inside Out
8. The Incredibles 2
9. Toy Story 4

Decent:
10. Up
11. Wall-E
12. The Incredibles
13. Cars 3
14. Finding Dory
15. Toy Story 3

Trash:
16. Brave
17. Monsters University
18. The Good Dinosaur
19. Cars 2
20. Ratatouille

Haven't seen yet:
Coco
Onward

I would say they're all good on different levels except for one... Cars 2 which felt more like a lower end Dreamworks Animated film.

Some of them I haven't seen in a looong time. But, off the top of my head and in no particular order:

Toy Story 1/3
Soul
A Bug's Life
Monsters, Inc
Up
Ratatouille
The Incredibles
WALL-E

Sadly I think they lost some of their magic cince Cars 2. Is like they couldn't completely recover from that failure. I would also like to add that The Good Dinosaur shouldn't be that low in the Pixar Pantheon.

Hard to believe how consistently high quality Pixar films have been.

Came across this RT article yesterday. So out of the 26 Pixar films, the 18th best is at 91%!! The 3 Cars films are a drag rated as the 3 worst films. The ratio of films making it to the 90s is ridiculous, with many of those making it to the high 90s.

All 26 Pixar Movies Ranked by Tomatometer << Rotten Tomatoes – Movie and TV

They had a hell of a run until Cars 2 brought everything down to earth. That's still the only bad movie they've done.
