Justice League script review

That does make sense if he actually leaked the darn thing.

Then again, I don't think he would risk his reputation and career like that. They found the man who hacked Michael Bay's laptop, they can find the man who leaked Batman Begins. :yay:

actually i was thankful the entire BB script leaked, heck they should do that for all films ;) :p

Actually IM the marvel. The reason I copied and pasted your post some time back, because, A: I couldnt think of any thing to say B:I agreed what you posted on BT. Hope that clears things up.:yay:
isnt that called plagiarism?

Though you DO bring up an interesting point....Marvel...why DID you take my post as your own? Really not cool dude. At least give me credit or something. :-/
good so it does bother you. couldnt believe you were still happy in your next post when the guy blatantly stole your posts and passed them off as his own.

suddenly made me conscious if theres anyone out there stealing my posts :ninja:

wow...so the script is real, then it isn't, then it is, then it's up in the air anyone's call...and since we can't figure it out ...now we're debating whether a fellow poster has a secret identity. lol this thread cracks me up :)

Hey, I was happy that the guy came forward so hopefully this nonsense would have been put behind us. Apparently it wasn't...of course, if my last post doesn't convince them that I don't use ANY name other than Rogzilla, I can point out a very simple reason why the time stamps could have been so close. Give you a hint...look at your watch...then look at your cellphone...then look at the computer. Do the times all match up perfectly? Probably not! AMAZING! :p

After I thought about it for a moment I DID think "Heeeey! THAT GUY STOLE MY THOUGHT!!!" but as I had left the message board, I didn't bring it up until I came back later. :p

I do have a secret identity...I'm Batman!

Don't worry about it. The mods should know a bit about the art of multiple user names, and so far none of them seem to have raised an eyebrow...Well maybe....There are mods in disguise after all....tee hee....

Must...not...make...trasformers...joke...

Well they protrayed Wonder Woman as a goddess! So I think when is speculated about some "sacrifice" could be the death of one of her partners (Flash or Superman) and she gave up of her inmortality for the live of her friend, and she will be mortal (but with powers) after that

More confirmation on the legitimacy of this via my "guy." There pages were indeed submitted to WB in Sept.

It seems that they were given to f/x, art, etc. people to give them an idea of what the film will "feel" like.

The rumour that it was a script written for Fx people?

The rumour that it was a script written for Fx people?

Yes.

I've heard that over a dozen times. His "source" is reporting what people have been thinking. Geesh.

Yup , not that i don't trust you (and why would you care anyways :cwink: ) but why didn't you said anything about it ?

personnaly i've read that speculation on those boards , but i haven't heard any rumors about it.

Fair enough,

Maybe, you prefered that people just think about the possibility that it was the "real" script.

Huh...that's interesting.

You know what I think...now, hold on here cause this may blow your mind!...that these pages ARE real BUT are not reflecting the actual plot of the movie! DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! (Note-Jett is one of the few guys that I just about trust.)

First of all, I notice that Jett's guy states that these pages were "submitted to WB back at the end of September." It doesn't say if they were approved, does it?

I notice also that he said his source said that this was given to the SFX/art houses to get an idea of what the film will FEEL like. Not what it will be about.

So then why Red Eye? Why the CSA? Simple...misdirection. Scripts are getting leaked all the time. When you send a script out, you run the risk of the wrong person getting a hold of it and putting it online. Think of all the safety measures people take. Heath Ledger wasn't allowed to leave Nolan's house with the script, he had to read it and leave it there. Michael Bay kept the only up to date copy of the Transformers script on his personal computer.

So, let's say you want to have companies bid on your movie. You have a script done but you don't want to release it like that at the risk of it being leaked. The more people you spread it out to, the better the chance of the leak. So, you tell your writers "Hey, whip us up a sample script of just a dozen pages or so which we can send out without giving away the plot."

Think about it...Batman doesn't get a badass intro like everyone else. Why not? Because there are much less special effects involved. You aren't dealing with Water FX like you would with Aquaman. You don't have to deal with flying and strength like you do with Superman and Wonder Woman (who share an "intro"). You don't have to deal with speed like you do with the Flash. Need I go on?

Why include the Crime Syndicate in a fake script? Misdirection! Why call it Red Eye instead of Brother Eye? They do bring up a good point on BoF's boards that many people thought that the BB's script was fake because they called it the League of Shadows and not the League of Assasins. Yet I also have faith in Patrick's source that Red Eye was him misspeaking. Perhaps calling it that is a way to let people who have been following the film know that this ISN'T the shooting script.

Add on top of this the fact that, if a new script is leaked, a more REAL one, then we will be hesitant to trust it as well. Thus, it helps keep the production secret.

Of course, this is all guess work. It could be that this is indeed a draft of a story that we will see in the film. We will have to see if the roles of the CSA get cast...assuming with the same actors as the JLA. Who knows, maybe there can be a way that the CSA will work. Bruce Timm et al found a way to make the CSA work for them. They changed a lot (ie-Justice Lords) but it worked great.

I still feel this is fake as it directly goes against the official release. We can only wait and see.

Trust me. This script was approved and sent out. The reason for only the first fifteen or so pages, I don't know, but I don't trust Jett.

Well...you see I do trust Jett (not 100% mind you, I trust NO ONE online 100%). I don't know you so I don't trust you. Sorry. You may be right. He may be right. Like I said, we wait and see.

That's fine. I deliver a few exclusives around here.. m'boy..

The script was approved in march not sept. That was when Maroney's handed it in to WB

Yup and anyways if that has been approved in september , who's to say ( and especially now ) that that was not written for Fx people?

ps: good post Rogzilla , your theory make sense :cwink:

Thanks Maze. You see, if I was making films (I hope to one day) I would spend half my time (not really HALF but you get the idea) putting out fake leaks about the production. I would make sure that completely fabricated storylines got put out, wrong casting, all of that. If I could, I would even arrange a fake trailer to be released online.

You would NEVER be able to trust anything from my films until something official came out. :p

Lol Well not a bad idea .

just make sure that the trailer is not better or even less good than your movie:o :woot:

wish you that you succeed anyways , that's a beautiful job :)

How would they know even if that was official? Should they even trust you after you lied again and again?
