Huh...that's interesting.
You know what I think...now, hold on here cause this may blow your mind!...that these pages ARE real BUT are not reflecting the actual plot of the movie! DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! (Note-Jett is one of the few guys that I just about trust.)
First of all, I notice that Jett's guy states that these pages were "submitted to WB back at the end of September." It doesn't say if they were approved, does it?
I notice also that he said his source said that this was given to the SFX/art houses to get an idea of what the film will FEEL like. Not what it will be about.
So then why Red Eye? Why the CSA? Simple...misdirection. Scripts are getting leaked all the time. When you send a script out, you run the risk of the wrong person getting a hold of it and putting it online. Think of all the safety measures people take. Heath Ledger wasn't allowed to leave Nolan's house with the script, he had to read it and leave it there. Michael Bay kept the only up to date copy of the Transformers script on his personal computer.
So, let's say you want to have companies bid on your movie. You have a script done but you don't want to release it like that at the risk of it being leaked. The more people you spread it out to, the better the chance of the leak. So, you tell your writers "Hey, whip us up a sample script of just a dozen pages or so which we can send out without giving away the plot."
Think about it...Batman doesn't get a badass intro like everyone else. Why not? Because there are much less special effects involved. You aren't dealing with Water FX like you would with Aquaman. You don't have to deal with flying and strength like you do with Superman and Wonder Woman (who share an "intro"). You don't have to deal with speed like you do with the Flash. Need I go on?
Why include the Crime Syndicate in a fake script? Misdirection! Why call it Red Eye instead of Brother Eye? They do bring up a good point on BoF's boards that many people thought that the BB's script was fake because they called it the League of Shadows and not the League of Assasins. Yet I also have faith in Patrick's source that Red Eye was him misspeaking. Perhaps calling it that is a way to let people who have been following the film know that this ISN'T the shooting script.
Add on top of this the fact that, if a new script is leaked, a more REAL one, then we will be hesitant to trust it as well. Thus, it helps keep the production secret.
Of course, this is all guess work. It could be that this is indeed a draft of a story that we will see in the film. We will have to see if the roles of the CSA get cast...assuming with the same actors as the JLA. Who knows, maybe there can be a way that the CSA will work. Bruce Timm et al found a way to make the CSA work for them. They changed a lot (ie-Justice Lords) but it worked great.
I still feel this is fake as it directly goes against the official release. We can only wait and see.
