Up to 200 "superheroes" are currently operating in the US

^But if they joined the police they couldn't wear their kewl costumes.

Bah, don't worry, if one more Drunken Hobo forgets Shadow Hare's name he'll probably hang up the cape for good.

That or become Symbiote Shadow Hare... and Jesus we don't need that. I've seen too many scrawny, whiney voiced men in black dancing to James Brown for one lifetime :(

I'm so conflicted on this entire thing. On the one hand I love what these people are doing, it's hysterical but on the other hand I cringe at every picture, video and report I see, it's pathetic.

I think there really needs to be a heroes vs villains event held where they just meet to beat **** out of each other until they can't flail their wimpy arms anymore.

Unfortunately such an event would be completely anticlimactic as each geek would throw one punch, most would miss, then they would all go and tell their moms on each other.

Here's a news camera following Shadow hare. It''s both funny and interesting.

What is amazing to me is how incredibly rude he is.

(Upon walking by a woman on her cell phone)

"Hello ma'am, how are you?" WTF mate? She was on her phone? Why would you interrupt her conversation?

Then they go to an open garage door and close it, because "someone might've broke in." For all they know someone was moving something into it and left it unlocked so they wouldn't have to fumble with the keys when they bring their heavy object back!

Clearly being a super hero does not teach you common courteousy. :cmad:

Don't underestimate the fabled nerd rage. All it would take is one of them to say 'Greedo shot first' and by god there'd be a massacre.

The more I read about these guys, the more I think they are grade A *****e bags. If they want to stop crime, why are they "patrolling," areas with abnormally low crime rates in the middle of broad day light? Someone needs to dump these jack asses in the middle of Detroit, St. Louis, or Philly at 2 am.

Do a YouTube search of "LARP" or "Live-Action Role-Playing". These guys are way ahead of of you. :oldrazz:

I'd even bet money that at least 75% of these guys are LARPers themselves.

That is real!?! I thought it was just in Role Models. Dear God.

Lmao, no, it's real. I tried one group a couple of times, and it is an awesome stress-reliever... But oh my God, I could NEVER get into it the way those guys did. What you saw on Role Models is not far from the truth in the slightest.

Surprisingly enough, I actually caught A LOT of flack from some of the more self-proclaimed "badass" members because I wasn't into it at all like they were. When one caught wind I was a cheerleader, he called me gay and challenged me to a foam-sword fight. The entire thing was full of failure.

Yikes, I just google'd this ****. Creepy.

Look at it this way, they're all in one place and not harassing the rest of the world

I rarely lol at anything I see on this board but I really did laugh at this. :lmao:

Yeah, I laughed when I read about it too (I knew the guy in person, but he did it over one of our forums). I think lifting girls in mini-skirts and little-to-no underwear by the ass is just about 210% more manly than running around half-naked with other dudes, hitting them with foam.

I am seeing no negitives in joining the Police from that statement :oldrazz::woot:

Its for attention. There's a void that they feel is missing from their lives and doing this makes them feel better about themselves, like their important.

Delusions of grandeur.

Batman did it because his city was corrupt and nobody else would. Superman did it because...well, what else would you do with powers like his? He was brought up with good morals (makes you wonder if somebody else found him in the corn field). Spider-Man did it out of guilt for his uncle.

These people are doing it for attention. Plain and simple.
