Different strokes for different folks but tell that to the people that put jer on Maxim's 2009 Hot list as well as FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world list for 2009 and see what they tell ya. lol
 
Emma Stone reminds me of Lindsay Lohan, and she has an annoying voice too. She doesn't seem like MJ at all to me. Red hair doesn't make an actress MJ.
 
I am gutted that Elena dropped out.

Having her on board would mean we get a Mary Jane that actually looks like the character!

Emma is pretty, but the standard sort of pretty, nothing special.

I mean hello people MJ is the hottest redhead this world has ever seen. Peter Parker is supposed to be gobsmacked that a girl like her would be interested in him.
And gutted when he can't turn up on a date with her.


To me Stone doesn't have that classic supermodel vibe to her. Plus her voice is grating, she sounds like she smokes 20 a day.

:funny: So true. I don't think she's a bad actress or anything and I've only seen her in Superbad, nothing against her, but I couldn't stand hearing her voice after a while.
 
I find Emma to be hotter than Elena and more talented an actress...Just my opinion though.
Emmas not my top choice by no means...I just prefer her over Elena no doubt.
 
helllllllls to the yeah on emma stone. she'd be a perfect MJ. there's no way mj's not in the film if she's up for the film.

In comparaison to the two others actresses in the list, she is way better.
 
Emma Stone will be gone in four years just like Elisha Cuthbert. People were wanting her as Black Cat before SM3 :dry: Emma is in no way anything like MJ. Her voice is nothing at all what I would think MJ talks like. She doesn't look like MJ other than having red hair. Lastly, she isn't hot, she is cute. I think the reason some people think she is hot is due to her personality.

She does have MJ sass but that is about it.

Cuthbert at least looked like a possible Felicia Hardy and she would have probably pulled off a sensual character, but nevertheless, you are right. I agree with everything and also the Emma Stone part, lol the thought that people think she is great or even perfect for MJ truly shows that they have no idea about casting. If the studios choose Emma Stone for MJ, I will be dissapointed. MJ will be ruined for another SM Franchise.:doh::dry:
 
I do not want Emma Stone as Mary Jane, there are better casting choices in my opinion also her voice might get quite irritating

I thought it was weird, though not surprising as this kind of reading between the lines is always done in reporting, assuming things that weren't actually said, that they concluded there was no MJ in the article. It said she just wouldn't be the leading lady.

Alright I admit, Emma has that fun girl, rebellious, confident vibe to her that Mary Jane needs. She comes across very confident, but that's not the only thing Mary Jane has, she's also warm and sweet and is a girl next door as well as Gwen.

Kirsten Dunst had this in the 1st film but she had no sexiness or confidence to her.

My problem with Emma is she looks nothing like MJ from the comics. Turn her hair brown and you've got the standard looking girl. She's no knockout.

And I mean, damn. Do you want to hear this voice for 3 movies? Cause I sure don't.

I cant believe that they made a good choice for Peter Parker with Andrew Garfield, but for the female characters they are about to blow it!

Me neither, I am highly dissapointed if that is their official list! Ok, Imogen Poots is really cute imo and probably would be a nice Gwen Stacy (Ive seen her only in Centurion so far)! But the rest of them? Not really! What the hell are they thinking??:awesome:

If they do go for one of those, I truly hope it will be Imogen Poots for Gwen Stacy and for MJ, I dont even wanna think of any of those pfft.

I still want Teresa Palmer or Imogen Poots for Gwen Stacy. I'd wouldn't mind Mia if she ate more food lol. Poots and Mia should both eat more and get meat on those bones. LMFAO
