DC's Legends of Tomorrow 2x03 "Shogun" - Nate (Nick Zano) is shocked to learn that he has powers but then accidentally lands himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) in Feudal Japan. After Sara (Caity Lotz) convinces their stowaway Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), AKA Vixen, that Rory (Dominic Purcell) is not a murderer, they all agree to find Nate and help him master his powers in order to defend the Japanese village from the Shogun and his army of samurai warriors. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) stay back to help fix the ship and find a secret compartment but decide not to tell the rest of the team what they learn.

Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Grainne Godfree (#203).

Japan well I know sara will have fun abd be some what at home there. Guess this is where Ray will finally learn judo and aikido. something this version of himself is lacking. while his comic book self is a master of.

How can Vixen be a stowaway? Hadn't the Wave Rider already left 1942 and gone on another adventure when Hourman was killed by Reverse Flash? How would Vixen get onboard?

Edit: Okay, this has gotta be the quickest, most contrived team-up ever. Vixen knocked everyone out without having any real facts to who killed Rex Tyler, and Sara just lets her out in the span of one conversation? At least leave her locked up. She did just knock them all out and threaten to kill Mick.

How sad to see the Legends being whipped by the JSA last week and got mostly whipped by Vixen alone.

well this is vixen the first right maybe their her fave animal . She may have bunch of stuffed teddy bear's in her room for all we know back at the JSA HQ. who know's ?

it's her ancestors and ray did meet her (katana )during the final battle with the league.

lol what was mick's obsession with ninja's? Did the other's tell him they didn't exsit? lol there noway sara should ever allow him to believe they don't exsit.

And there should have been throwing star's / shuriken's on the one that he stole the ninja suit from. that part was just plain weird .

I hope Nate's character improves, as his insistence on being a superhero comes across less as earnest and more petulant. That's not to ignore that the episode's action and camp added a lot of fun to overcome most of whatever story is being told with Nate, and I do want to see what the next episodes do with Ray.

Also, I find it odd that the only thing Rex could say before dying was "time traveler." What, was "Some speedster in a banana peel suit" too hard to say instead?

He was croaking at the versy minute. So yeah I guess it was. word's are too long to say all that and the writers wanted it vague( so it's on them). at least vixen didn't think to accuse and still be suspicious of the people that just helped the JSA, with what Rex said. .

lol let also remember this ship doesn't have emotion's to you hurt my friend's /crew and I don't think rip ever put in and alarm system or any sort of warning of threats other wise when ray was knocked out by savage. Gideon should have seen that and alarms should have started blaring through the ship. remember this all due to rips training by the time masters to be incompetent .

alot of thing's happening like her stowing away so easy is cause of what they finally told rip why he acted the way he did . that they made him how they wanted him to be a dens captain of that ships.

so don't expect that ever really planned for things like an early warning or threat intruder or prision break alerts/warning systems.
