This looks like crazy fun, but I am a bit worried for some of the humour in the trailer.

Maybe it's the editing and also having everything out of context, but some of the jokes didn't land for me.

I rarely expect to laugh at any joke in a Comic Book movie, or a movie in general, I'm just not a very laughing person but I've no issue with the jokes, I chuckled at a few of them, the least of my worries when watching a film is whether or not I'm gonna laugh so idc either way, I'm still so excited for this film though.

Interesting that David Ayer's name is not included as Executive Producer, (neither is Geoff Johns) but Walter Hamada, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are.

I think the jokes will be funnier within the context of the movie once we actually see the characters banter with each other and whatnot.

Gunn can be hit or miss though. He was firing on all cylinders with the humor in GoTG. The jokes were witty and well timed and then in vol 2 it devolved into elementary school humor.

Still not sure why Gunn chose Starro as the main Villain for this movie, I expected someone more grounded after the disastrous Enchantress.

Most will disagree with me, but I'll say it.

Harley Quinn has been stripped of all nuances and complexity in all DCEU films.
She became an action figure. A mix between Joker and Deadpool.

All the traits that made Harley a great character in The Animated Series are more prominent in Joker, especially Ledger and Phoenix performances.

i with you i'm a fan of Gunn's but these jokes are just juvenile he didn't learn from almost being canceled that Cena starfish bit was so elementary school non sense and NO ENOUGHT KING SHARK

This is such an odd thing to complain about. The concept of doing that sort of thing is kind of whatever for me, but it’s not like it’s going to affect the quality of the actual film.

Well I really enjoyed this new trailer, but the bits with Weasel and King Shark were the best parts IMO. I'm glad they aren't showing us too much of the R-rated goodness to come because I still want to experiance that for the first time as I'm actually watching the movie. Also, August can't come soon enough.
