The more I think about it, I don't want another Thor movie. I feel like a 4th solo movie was too generous for Marvel Studios, given that we didn't get an Iron Man 4 and Steve Rogers 4.
I'd rather see.Hercules and Thor fight in Avengers 5
I need to see more of that IW Thor style!I think Thor 5 is still very much in the cards, the bigger question is with whom and what type of story will they choose to tell. There’s still a lot of unexplored great material from Thor’s comicbook history and I would be more than on board with another crack at this franchise and exploration of those great elements.
As much as I like Taika and love Ragnarok, I do feel that TLT was a big missed opportunity and I would be willing to see someone else at the directorial chair tackle the material moving forward. Of course Chris Hemsworth’s Thor needs to be the focus as always and I also would like to see the overall vibe toned down to a more Infinity War-like feel where stuff is taken a bit more serious with a fun component always present of course.
All in all I just hope for more Thor.
...the star of Thor and Extraction underwent a battery of genetic tests to see what, if anything, the future might have waiting for him, etched into his very DNA. What he discovered, he says in the show, was “my biggest fear.”
His makeup includes two copies of the gene APOE4, one from his mother, the other from his father, which studies have linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease. One in four people carry a single copy of the gene, but only 2 to 3% of the population have both, according to a 2021 study by the National Institutes of Health.
If anything, he talks about the finding as a blessing. Hemsworth can begin taking steps to manage the risk, maintain physical and mental health, and perhaps stave off the development of the disorder for as long as possible. He’s dealing with it a number of ways—gallows humor among them.
Well do you think Thor will survive the Multiverse Saga after Steve/Tony only reached phase 3, while Natasha ended her journey on phase 4.
"I’ve said this before but when it becomes too familiar, I think there’s a risk in getting lazy then because I know what I’m doing," he said. "I don’t know if I’m even invited back, but if I was, I think it would have to be a drastically different version in tone, everything, just for my own sanity… [laughs] Thor lost his mind that last one. He’s got to figure it out now."
