It's a Bird! It's a Plane! David Corenswet IS Superman!

This person met David, assuming at this film release or perhaps somewhere else. But it's recent.

Totally wearing hats because of the dyed hair lol.

As if our eagle-eyed asses couldn't tell. Nice try anyway, Gunn. :funny:

On a related note, David kind of reminds me of Byrne's Superman there, specifically as he's depicted in the famous Time magazine spread commemorating the character's 50th anniversary in 1988.

Tis one of my favorite Superman images of all time.

Yeah I think Corenswet is looking identical to Byrne's Superman nowadays. It's crazy.

Are they actually making him wear a hat in public so his Superman haircut doesn't leak :funny:.
It's a pretty common actor thing, or at least I think so, since Robert Pattinson always does the same thing when he's filming a new role (for Tenet and Mickey17 he constantly wore caps when going outside. I guess The Batman was the exception in a way? 'Cause he had a modelling thing to attend right before filming)

Yeah, beanies are to pretentious modern actors what scarves were to older pretentious actors.

Wow he’s got the pose right. I could already imagine the cape cascading off his broad shoulders

I like the bobcut on Lois there.

Superman is always someone (in whatever medium I have seen the character in) who seems to have near perfect posture. Back straight, chin up, chest out.

It's partly how Reeve was able to make his Clark Kent portrayal so different, that deliberate slouch really affected how his body shape looked and also felt like it took an inch or two off his height.
