Cable Cord Cutters Thread: Sling, Hulu, YouTube TV, Netflix, and more!

So my Dad discovered Parks and Rec and we just learned that NBC finally took it off Netflix and Hulu and is now exclusive to Peacock.

I've been off the Shield TV for about two weeks now and I don't entirely miss it. I miss how fast it was compared to my Roku TV, but that's it.

I checked this out and I can get a lot of these channels with Frndly and Locast.

Clueless is on Pluto.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop cause I thought this was going to happen with Fubo until they let go of their Turner channels.

So just learned this new deal may give some areas live CW with Hulu Live.

Hulu's site is down now. I wonder what for. :hmm

LOL. Let's see...AT&T Watch Now. AT&T WatchTV. DirecTV Now. AT&T TV Now. Good luck, AT&T TV. You're gonna need it.

I can't believe some people rejoiced when these hoopleheads took over at WB.

So you can still stream with the service, but now on any compatible streaming device (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc.). The cheapest option is 54.99 for 2 years or 69.99 month-to-month with HBO Max for a year. That used to be free with the Max option indefinitely. I also see they tucked away channels that are included in other services in higher tiers.

So if you're desperate for locals and regional sports, it's not a bad option. But for me personally the 84.99 Choice package is the one I would be interested in if I were to try it. I would still stick with YouTube TV at least until Hulu adds Viacom to their Live TV service.

It looks like they also added A&E channels.

AT&T TV has some weird choices in their lineup. OANN and Newsmax are in their base package over Travel Channel or Game Show Network. And Teen Nick is there instead of Nick Jr.. Other than that I would consider it...

It's weekends where I can appreciate having YTTV's DVR and on demand streaming where nothing is good on Live TV. It reminds me why I want both Live TV and an on demand library.

So bad news it looks like you have to call AT&T if you want to cancel AT&T TV even if you don't have a contract, which kinda kills the benefits of streaming which is easy cancelation.

Attention Live TV streamers, check your guides for any new channels today around 12:00PM PT. WGN America will be added to all the major ones and some may have more channels added along with it. YTTV may also be getting QVC.

And they're up. Looks like QVC is on YTTV which is good as it means they're paying Google to be on there. This means it will help keep costs down for the consumers. If they add HSN, that will help to.
