Two of my favorite sitcoms of all time being remade, so I'll be tuning in to see what they do with them. I just don't see Marisa Tomei as Edith, but they totally nailed it with Will Ferrell & Kerry Washington as Tom and Helen Willis for the Jeffersons.

I could see Jamie Foxx as George and Wanda Sykes as Weezy.

I thought for some reason it’d be like an updated version, but they’re treating it like Shakespeare. I have no words for Woody and Marisa lol.

All of the actors fit the roles well.

I had never seen an episode of either of the original series but the jokes/humor still holds up. I genuinely laughed at a lot of the jokes

The Jeffersons spun off from All in the Family, but so did Maude, which had it's own Spinoff, Good Times. All a part of the Norman Lear shared Universe.
