Without giving too much, she had more screentime than Nicole Kidman and Aquaman's father in this new film. Though I think Nicole Kidman has more lines in the film. Mera is definitely part of the

her first fight with him was GOOOD. The underwater tornado and ripping off his door. Her just standing there as he beams up though...you could tell they made her stupid just to get her out of the plot for half the movie
