Comics Ben Reilly: The Scarlet Spider (April 2017)

Over a year now that Ben Reilly returned.
To celebrate Ben's awesome new stories here's a tribute by Lee Chandler.

Seems like this is the of the series. Nothing solicited. But that could jbe because of Spider-Geddon. Any way, the book needs a radical change in focus and tone.

I have a feeling we're getting a "house-cleaning" of sorts with Spider-Geddon, for better or worse. I haven't been reading SS, but I heard good things.

So in the positive side, Ben Reilly survived Spider-Geddon. That makes me happy, because I was really worried.
I also like that he is healed, mentally stable and no clone degeneration in his face anymore.

So while the outcome is satisfying, the way it happened is kind of cheap.
Spider-Geddon is ignoring Scarlet Spider #25, and while that is not necessarily a bad thing, I would have hoped that Ben's redemption would come at the end of his book instead of a short panel in an event, and then at the hand of Doc Ock.

But I don't want to complain as the result is good, having Ben back like we used to know him.

I would like a Ben & Kaine team book!
Also, what happened to Aracely?

Ben has popped up in Iron Man 5... hopefully what it looked like happened didn't happen.
