Benny Chan's been around for a long, long time. Yet the long-time Jackie Chan collaborator has been making some of the best kung-fu to hit screens in the Y2K era including the Chan/Chan flick New Police Story which teamed Jackie with up-n-comers like Nicholas Tse. It was Jackie's best film in years and most of that thanks was to Benny.

Now The Weinstein Co. has picked up North American rights to Invisible Target, Benny's new Hong Kong-China actioner from helmer Benny Chan. The flick opens this week in parts of Asia but its nice to have a Western kung-fu flick open here in the East - though no US release date has yet to be named. Invisible Target stars Nicolas Tse, Shawn Yue, Wu Jing and Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan star.

i remember reading an interview where Jaycee Chan said he didnt want to be an actor like his dad, that he wanted to be a singer.

I didn't know Jackie's kids were that old, he's the spittin' image of his father too.
