Game of Thrones vs. Lord of the Rings: Aesthetically, which series do you like more?

Seeing as how I can't stand to watch GOT, I will have to say LOTR. And saying I can't stand to watch the show is not saying its bad, I just am not strong enough for it. I just heard about the Red Wedding and Theon's torture and felt sick. Could never imagine watching years of this stuff.

GOT does have many good things including many female characters which LOTR never had.

As some have said, it's not even close for me. LOTR all the way.

Re-watched the films recently and the aesthetic in LOTR is superior to the Hobbit as well - something about too much CGI.
 
This is such an easy choice. Fellowship had Rivendell, Lothlorien and the Mines of Moria alone. The design of these three places stands out way more to me than the any design in GOT...and don't get me wrong I love me some GOT. I won't even go into the costumes, which I think GOT has done an excellent job on but the armor in LOTR, especially the Elven armor can't be touched.
