Homecoming How to make Spider-Man's origin story more exciting?

Yes, I agree. I think the main problem is that the parents angle was used as part of the origin, and therefore the entire franchise revolves around it. In the comics, the parents were not brought up until much later on. Peter discovers his parents were spies long after becoming Spider-Man, and it was resolved rather quickly. Then you had "Untold Tales of Spider-Man" where Richard and Mary Parker were agents of SHIELD.

In the MCU, it would be cool if maybe Nick Fury mentions that Parker's parents worked for him at one point. That could be his way of trying to recruit Spider-Man for the Avengers. I don't know. But it shouldn't be an entire series based on the "mystery" of his missing parents.

It would really feel like Spider-Man in MCU if Samuel L Jackson Nick Fury walked in lol.

Flashback, flashback, flashback, heck I don't know
