It's a Bird! It's a Plane! David Corenswet IS Superman!

I want Corenswet to have his hairstyle from the Politician. His natural Superman hair was the first thing I noticed.

Judging by the length of his hair from the recent photos, I don't think we'll be getting anything like that.

Because this "clone" can actually act?

Celebrity gif. An extremely close up shot of Kenan Thompson with only his expression showing as he scrunches up his face in a questioning, are-you-sure manner.

I was facetiousisming fellas.

Honey this emoji is your friend ":o". How does it represent sarcasm? I have no ****ing clue, but it's there. 🤷
I repurposed that emoji a long time ago. It no longer stands for sarcasm, now it stands for smugness.

You would know that if you were paying attention. :o

No one asked your opinion, bottom shamer. :o

I use italics but I guess it doesn't really mean anything outside of my own brain. Plus its just an absurd thing to say so it just feels like sarcasm to me lol

It’s funny because if you go to Seoul South Korea you’ll see heaps of guys who are absolutely stacked but are super shy and nerdy. So many superman types

Not the best Photoshop but as far as the amount of muscle and the fabric look I would be happy with that.

I usually just say sarcastic statements using a funny voice. I’m pretty sure it translates well onto internet message forums.

I swear to God I was scrolling the page really fast and for a second I thought that was real.

lol nope. But don’t worry. James Gunn will post an old drawing of Krypto today to tide us over.

I really hope we get to actually see more of inside the DP, and Clark being a reporter.
I want to see a busy newsroom as a big disaster happens, with perry bellowing at Jimmy, where's Kent and Lane?
I don't know chief.
Find them, and Don't call me chief.

Cat is filming an Instagram story letting her followers know that her next column will be an A-bomb, Lombard is loudly yelling at a football match, and Ron is wondering if it's time to send his résumé to to the Coast City Gazette.

But when people look at David, they are automatically going to think of Henry Cavill because he & Henry look so much alike. But also I'm more than willing to see how David portrays the character. Because a lot of people loved Cavill as Superman and they thought that he was done dirty by DC & Warner Bros. So here is hoping David's version has more range and more of an edge to him but also he has that vulnerability that makes the character so relatable.

I like Cavill a lot and feel his tenure as Superman could have been handled a lot better by WB. But tbf, it's not like he got a rougher deal than Routh did - imagine signing up for such a big property as Superman Returns, as your first major lead feature, then the whole thing fizzles out without even a sequel or cameo (his recent one in Crisis aside). He's managed to get a good TV career out of it but probably had expectations that it would have opened many more doors at the time than it did. Cavill at least has gone on to have plenty of big opportunities elsewhere.

Anyhow, looking forward to see what Corenswet does with the role. Superman has been played by a few actors now so just like Batman or Bond or whatever, there's not much point in being too precious about holding on to one of them - there's always going to be a new person waiting in the wings.

Yeah, I just hope that (unlike the last few movie versions) this film is great and universally beloved so that Corenswet and Brosnahan get multiple appearances as Superman and Lois. This is one time where I feel like I KNOW how good both of them will be in these roles and it would be a travesty if their talents are squandered in a bad movie.

For me, I want to see plenty of Clark and Lois actually doing dangerous investigative reporting, namely investigating Lex and Lex-corp.
