Love this movie.

It was, LOOOOOOOOOOONG before Chris Nolan or Casino Royale or whatever one wants to point to, the original serious, gritty. "Reboot" of a well known pop culture character.

And... It's a good movie that works.

And yes... Ian Holm does what he does and shines in a key part. I always tear up when he and Lambert have their goodbye.

An underrated diamond in the rough that I recommend anyone watch.
