It's interesting to me that so many people rank AOTC about TPM. Because, to me, AOTC is a FAR inferior movie. I can at least sit down and watch TPM all the way through in one sitting. AOTC is too painfully awful, I can only watch it in fits and starts. And most of it is SO BORING!!

Horrible, horrible movie. Grown-up Anakin and romance with Amidala sink both movies into the very bottom of my list.

Yes but AOTC is worse because it makes the "romance" front and center. Also I'll take Jake Lloyd's Anakin over Hayden Christiansen's Anakin any day of the week.

I cant stand episode 1 or 2 they are both in my top 5 worst movies ever seen list but I put episode 2 ahead because at least the yoda fight was cool where there was not a single moment I liked in 1. I need to see 7 again before I can rank it have seen it just once and I have a really bad mermory so I already forget a lot of it and I need to see if the flaws bother me more or less a second time. The movie is way way to much like episode 7 though hope 8 is more new and is not like episode 5 over again like how 7 was 4.

I was really tempted to place TFA as #1 because it excellently combines all the elements of ANH/ESB/ROTJ and the story is very well-written. But it does has some flaws and I can't find any plot flaw in ESB, so ESB has the best storyline, for me.


Characters:
1. Original Trilogy
2. Sequel Trilogy
3. Prequel Trilogy

Again, I wanted to place the sequel trilogy's characters up there equally with the original characters, because they all have so well-written backstories, and the young actors all did a wonderful job portraying them. But I realized its unfair, because we have not seen the whole saga of ST. While PT characters are just a bunch of people talking and sitting around, doing nothing


Special effects (incl. mechanized props, special effects makeup, CGI):
1. The Force Awakens - HANDS DOWN, no doubt about this
2. ANH/ESB/ROTJ
3. TPM/AOTC/ROTS - everything's fake, what can I say


Lightsaber fight choreography:
