I don't think anyone can dispute that Batman is inherently good and ethical.

Also, Tim never wanted to be Batman. Ever. He's railed against it his entire career as Robin and fought against the darkness that he thinks has consumed Bruce.

Tim wants to be Batman in the sense that he wants to be "The Dark Knight Detective" and "The Worlds Greatest Detective"... he doesn't want to be Bruce Wayne but he definitely wants Batman's detective mantle.

I thought Bishops were supposed to be the information gatherers/coordinators. Oracle fits that bill pretty well.

Really, if we wanted a Bat-family Checkmate suit, you could make Batman the Black King, Oracle the Black King's Bishop, and Batgirl the Black King's Knight. That'd be a pretty unstoppable intelligence/ops team.
