Sonic the Hedgehog Live Action Film Series

With the Sonic the Hedgehog games having budget over more than 1 billion dollars on sales, the superfast hedgehog himself is finally coming to the big screen as the planned film is being produced by Sony Pictures but it's released date is yet to be announced. Hopefully if the film turns out successful, Sony may do sequels for the first Sonic film that they do.

Now here are the characters that we all want to see;

Now for the film that Sony has in the works right now to have a sequel or two, the film needs to succeed with more than $100,000,000 in gross revenue and it needs to involve Sonic and his friends not only to fight Dr, Eggman and villains from Mobius but also real world threats in our world as well as having the plot of this film kept strong at the same level as the Marvel Cinematic films and we need to make sure that we all see it once it comes out on it's premier date as well.

So keep track of anymore updates that are yet to come on the movie and be sure to advise Sony Pictures on what characters you want them to include in the mean time as well.

Sadly, Eggman is his original name in Japan. I hate it too. Ever since Sonic Adventure came out, Sega of Japan has been very strict on phasing out the name Robotnik and keeping it Eggman.

It's such an idiotic name. With Robotnik, it kinda sounds intimidating, like a comic-book villain. But Eggman? Just.. what? How can he terrorize anyone with a name like that? How can anyone who meets him not burst into laughter when they learn his name?

Take Sonic 2006 for example. The intro features a city being attacked by a bunch of robots. Explosions, people running and screaming. It's awesome. Suddenly, Robotnik's ship looms overhead, shining its lights down on the terrified citizens. He makes a grand entrance, then proceeds to say: "Hello, my name is DOCTOR EGGMAN." and at this point, he loses all credibility as a villain.

I hate that name. Hate it, hate it, hate it.

To the OP, no offense, but I seriously doubt all of these characters will be in the movies.

Want to know something funny? In the comic based on the first video game (old comic, that time) Dr. Kintobor was a good person, he held an egg to gather all the evil in the world in it, but his device blew up, and he became the evil Dr. Robotnik (name of the good person gone backwards.)

It'll probably be like the 2014 TMNT movie. I'm okay with that, as long as it doesn't have a plot where Sonic literally jumps out of the television screen and into some kid's life. And no fart jokes.

If that's the barometer I'm afraid it's destined to be a failure Nothing should ever, ever aspire to only being as good as TMNT 2014. That's a masterclass in ****ing up basic source material.

I never actually saw TMNT 2014, but going by the previews, it was billed as a big action film, the Turtles were treated like legit heroes and Shredder was a menacing villain. If the Sonic movie goes that route, I guess I'll be okay with it.

I can't honestly expect Dark Knight levels of quality from this, can I? But as long as it isn't like Smurfs or Chipmunks, I think I'll be alright with it.
