It is true that they are from Maxim or FHM or one of those but the pics themselves are no more sexual than the scene between Bond and Caterino Murino (sp) in Casino Royale which was a PG-13,what i am saying is that avvy is not sexual in nature more sexy ala Baywatch with girls frolicking in Bikini's.......Yes i used frolicking:woot:

Fair enough, but none the less, would you want your child staring at that avatar all day? Would you let your 11 or 12 year old (hell, they get internet access even younger now-a-days)...would you want your 8 or 9 year old looking at it or watching Baywatch all day or Casino Royale? And I love the use of frolicking

Thanks for the avvy compliment,In the case of this thread we are looking into the family nature of SHH,now certainly in community there is greater leeway as regards contents of posts as long as they are not attacks on another poster but the main issue from what i can see is the site banners, which i honestly can't find any logical way to defend.
As for using the rules when it suits,i guess that is case by case and i haven't spent a lot of time in this section to judge if this has occurred, ive never removed anyone's avvy but i did inform JStorm that there had been some complaints from parent members over his Batman and Robin Kissing avvy although i made it clear he was not obligated to remove it.

Ah, but the thing is, Morg did not post it in Community. He posted it in a Spider-Man forum. A forum I am willing to bet dollars to doughnuts is occupied heavily by lurking children and children members. Doesn't that open just a whole new can of worms?

As far as moderating goes, Hunter, Dew and Drakon are the best. I really haven't seen the others' work.

LS and IF are good moderators as well, but yeah, add them to that list and you pretty much have the best of the best right there.

I confess a couple times at work I was browsing the forum and someone happened to walk by as soon as I scrolled down and lo and behold someone had one of those sultry avatars and they're looking at me like, "you know you can't view those at work." Some avvys do make this site un-work safe at times I have to admit. But that would be my only gripe.

You sit at the cool kids table though :o

To be honest given that i don't have kids it's a hard one to call b/c the avvy and Baywatch are not that bad IMO,i am more concerned about children being exposed to violence as oppsed to a sexy woman, now if it were sexual then yes i'd be less inclined to want younger members of my family to see it
I once had a Scarlett avvy with a very nice side boob shot,Dew PM'd me and asked me if i would consider changing it even though it wasn't breaking rules,i did so b/c i realised that some ppl are offended by sexy things.

frolicking is so underrated:woot:

Yes,i am not real good at BS so personally i would not have posted that in the SM forum, funny though it is,it is a bit to adult in content IMO
