The Hype Mole Season 2 FINALE!!!

For those that do not know the premise or the rules of the game:

15 players are chosen, one of them is the mole. The mole is a double agent within your team and is selling secrets to an enemy power. Each mission has a reward in the form of a clue to the true identity of the mole amongst you. It is the mole's job to thwart or sabotage any efforts at uncovering their identity. After each mission, a quiz about that mission and the mole's involvement is issued and the player with the lowest score is executed. In the event of a tie for last, the pm(s) first received will take precedence. The mole will always score 100% and will therefore not be eliminated.

At the end, 2 players remain. It is then up to the 13 executed players to submit their vote as to who they think the mole is. If the majority chooses the mole, then the other player did a good job at uncovering their identity and therefore wins. If the majority chooses the non-mole player, then the mole did a good job at keeping their identity a secret and therefore wins.

Your outcome is solely up to you and not an alliance or other players. There is always more than one way aside from mission clues to uncover the mole's true identity. So, be vigilant, pay attention, and always mind your surroundings.

Remember, only stuff given or sent by myself or Eggyman is official. The main rules about this game is that there are none. Lie, cheat, backstab, or slither your way to the top! Each mission will have its own set of instructions.

So so close. Congratulations to both The-Dark-Knight and The Last Son for making it to the final two but now comes the hard part: convincing the 13 players that have been executed that your opponent is in fact the mole.

This thread is for you two to present your case by posting clues and other evidence that you have gathered throughout this game. Beware, the mole can change clues if they so see fit to divert the attention onto the other player. Anything is game so don't hold back.

The players that have been executed, feel free to ask questions that will help you determine who the mole is if you have not already made up your mind. I will send out the voting pm to you 13 tomorrow evening after each player has stated their case.Remember executed players, you are voting for who you think is the mole. A majority vote for the mole will mean the other player has achieved showing evidence as to why they are not the mole. However, a majority vote for the non-mole player will mean that the mole did an outstanding job concealing their identity and they will be declared the winner. AGAIN...VOTE FOR WHO YOU THINK THE MOLE IS.

After I have received all of the votes, I will post how the clues and missions related to the mole's identity before I reveal the winner of season 2. I thank everyone for playing and I thank Eggyman for being a wonderful cohost. CHEERS :woo

I guess I will go first.

Before I start, I would like to give props to chase and Eggy for putting this game together. It was well crafted and a lot of fun. Great job!

Now, for the low down. If you are fan of the show, you know that one strategy is to draw attention to yourself. This gives you a slight edge. That was my goal coming in. I knew that it could only take me so far, because unlike the show, the executed here can still communicate with the remaining players. It could give me an advantage, until someone who targeted me in a quiz got eliminated. Needless to say, with others dropping out of the game (i.e. late quizzes), it took me further than expected. I saw my biggest opportunity with our first clue, Walker, Texas Ranger. As soon as I saw it, I changed my location (Dallas, Texas) in my profile. I think it worked. I guess we will have to see when Chase reveals all of that later.
I will admit I had no idea who the Mole was in the beginning. It wasnt until the Dharma clue (thanks SsM) that I knew who it was. Here is a list of the clues I received and how they connect to TDK.

1st Clue: Walker, Texas Ranger pic. I think a lot of people, me included, tried to read way too much in this one. It is actually very simple. TDKs join date was in March. Chuck Norris was born in March. Not to mention the challenge came straight from TDK the Movie.

2nd Clue: 1939 Quarter and a Picture of Rosemary Harris (Aunt May). This was simple after I did more research on him. 1939 was the first appearance of Batman (The Dark Knight) and he mentioned that he had met most of the cast of Spiderman 2.

3rd Clue: Santa Claus painting. He stated Christmas was his favorite holiday.

4th Clue: Pic. of Alan Moore. Coincidentally, I got the special numbered (box 30) and received the answer to the puzzle. 30 is how old TDK is by the way. Moore worked on Batman Killing Joke= His favorite comic.

5th Clue: This was centered on the Knights of the Roundtable (mine was Sir Percival). The large clue was Historia Regum Britanniae. Which I shared with a couple of people. If you notice, TDKs words were a three letter word and a four letter word. I believe it was Sir Bors, but it screamed The Mole to me when I first saw it. After I mentioned that I new the answer to the large clue, he instantly contacted me via PM asking for help on his smaller clue. I found that a bit suspicious.

6th Clue(s): I bailed out early in the Dharma challenge. I honestly didnt think we could keep it going, but you guys proved me wrong. I received the answer to the question Does the Mole have a second valid account on the Hype!? as my incentive for leaving. The answer was yes. I couldnt find out if TDK had one or not, but SsM shared the smaller clue the rest of you received. It was a quote of Churchills. I figured out that the numbers that were given corresponded with the letters of the quote.:
To figure this clue, correctly follow the 26 you must do. Forget the rest, anything but the 26 is only a pest. The numbers that follow are not hollow so pay attention and do your best: 3, 27, 34, 56, 74, 83, 87, 97, 108, 184, 189, 197, 211, 234, 270, 304, 306, 307, 313.

But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period I am addressing myself to the School surely from this period of ten months, this is the lesson: Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never in nothing, great or small, large or petty never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

7th Clue: Pictionary Mission. I honestly thought I had gotten all three right, but I missed one. I really think it had to do with Two-Face though. Anyways, the ones we did get correct are Batman related. The large clue on the bottom is missing the first part, but I think it has to do with Manchester (where TDK lives). Perhaps: Manchester Ringway. Im guessing here.

8th Clue(s): We all received an aerial view of a city that I believe to be Manchester. The bonus clue I received was this: 53° 28′ 0″ 2° 14′ 0″. Of course it is missing two numbers.
I believe the correct coordinates are: 53° 28′ 50.56″ 2° 14′ 3.75″ which is Manchester.

Final Clue: Was this pic from Batman #612.

On top of this evidence, most of our Missions have had ties to Batman or The Dark Knight.

Mission 2: Bomb the Boat- Straight from TDK the movie.
Mission 3: Hostage Situation- From the TDK viral site ibelieveinharveydent.com and from the movie as well.
Mission 6: Mole Hangman- Hangman is a Batman villain.
Mission 9: Who Dunnit'?- Famous saying referring to Detective stories.
Mission 11: Four of a Kind- Batman: Four of a Kind is a graphic novel.
Mission 12: Knowledge is Power- Knowledge is Power is part of a quote from Batman Forever (Riddler).

Whew! Thats a lot. Last, but not least, I am not the Mole. I will answer any questions you have if you still have doubts. Thank you.

The funny thing is I have had 1 of you 2 targetted since the beginning of this game. Before there was any clues, and I laugh that you are still here and wish that I bothered to turn in that 1 quiz I missed :csad:

Weirdly, TDK was my alternate choice for being the mole, since he sent me a clue, that when checked against other players, was not the real clue. smelled a little moley. then, he was the one who planted in my head the idea that TLS is the mole.
Therefore, until TDK gives satisfactory evidence to the contrary, i beleive TLS's evidence.

Firstly Id like to say what a fun game this has been, Kudos to chase and Eggy on the game, I really enjoyed it.

Im not the mole though in all honesty when I first signed up for it I was hoping to be picked to be the mole something I was not, that name went to The Last Son.

These are the clues I received, from my own missions and from other players kind enough to share. Ill admit I never received as many clues as TLS. The reason i got this far is voting TLS as the mole in the Quizes and answering each question with stuff i had dug up about TLS.

First Clue: That was a picture of Chuck Norris, famous for playing Walker Texas Ranger, The last son is from Texas, something his location stated and something he changed as soon as he received his first clue from Texas to Between He clearly knew what the clue was pointing towards and wanted to get you all off the scent.

Norris was also the first and last son to his parents

Rosemary Harris does play Aunt May in the Spider-man films in the second she states to Peter Parker (a name not that far from last seasons hype mole) Your not superman Im sure I dont need to mention Superman is the last son.

Third Clue: A quote fromWinston Churchill Someone who famously fought the Nazis During the second world war as did Superman (again the last son)

(I do not live in Manchester, as TLS states I actually live in Southhampton) The map we later received is not a map of Southampton but I believe a map of somewhere in Dallas, Texas. (again if it is Manchester as TLS states that makes no sense as I do not nor ever have lived in Manchester)

The Who Dunnit Mission, I was team leader on that game, TLS fingered Scarlet Spidey to die. The clues made no sense at all to me. However TLS claimed he cracked it, he told me to declare it, after all he was right. Alas he was not, Spidey got killed.

The Pictionary Mission, TLS was adamant to be named Captain as his answers were correct. Alas he was named captain (something I was not keen on due to my then knowing he was the Mole) He claimed his answers were all correct. They were not and he again screwed us over.

Do the simple sum yourself its not 8-1-1-4 as TLS states but (9-1-1-4) another simple yet effective chance to screw us over, something i only noticed later, would someone as clever as TLS make such a simple mistake?

A lot of the Missions have had ties to The Dark Knight, That said Eggy and Chase are regulars on the Batman Boards and Chase has stated in his 15 Minutes that The Dark Knight is One of his favorite films (not to mention the biggest of 2008) its quite easy to be influenced in a game by such a big film.

I should also mention i have a PM from TLS that basically he admits he's the mole, i cannot post it as its not allowed but will happily pass it on to anyone who wants it.

In closing The Last Sons Version of why I am the mole is very clever, but throughout the game he has showed that hes a very clever guy. In all honesty more clever than myself. Look as his fabricated explanations as to why Im the mole and youll see it as just that the fabrications of a very clever man.

Also don't forget the Safe cracking mission, where TLS stated he was sure he had the correct sequence, I was the team captained and changed the sequence at the last minute (a move he cried out at), but in doing so I changed it to the correct sequence, unfortunately one of the answers was still incorrect.

I explained this one already. If I was the Mole I would have already known the pic would be used as a clue and would have changed my location before the mission.

You could of met her at a different time. You never said you met them at a premiere of Spiderman 2, even so she was at the Spiderman 3 premiere.

The final mission is one last execution quiz that deals with all of the past missions. I already told you all that each mission itself or the details surrounding it were also hints at the mole's identity other than the more obvious clues you could win after each round.

And with respect to you, you are the mole I know that because i'm not. you would say that. As i said your a clever guy and your fabrication of the clues says that.

The fact remains you never changed your location before the mission but after once the clue was recieved.

I met most of the cast at the premiere, Molina, Maguire, Raimi & Dunst, never have met Harris. I never attended the Spider-man 3 Uk premiere for very personal reasons

I never adressed the coins as again i'm not sure how they link to you, as i already stated your the more clever one out of the two of us, needless to say you found a fake way to link them to myself, Kudos.

The fellow mancunian remark is that i have travelled to Manchester on occasion, not to mention many users of this board are from there. I myself have never lived there.

Why is the real clue in that picture BAtman its Batman AND Superman, superman being the bad guy in this context, the mole.

I did send you a PM and it was once. i never expected a reply but you did, i was expecting the reply of i made it up. I did not.

I like how you turn the stuff against me that you can yet fail to mention the stuff that is clearly correct.
