So what kind of cameras do you guys use?

I'm considering getting a new one. I currently use a Canon EOS Rebel T3, which I've have for about 3 years. I'm considering a Rebel SL1 or a T5i, but I'm not really sure what to look for in terms what makes a camera better. I'm currently at 12MP, while these are 18MP, but I've heard that megapixels don't really make too much of a difference.

I'm also trying to stick with Canon so I can use the lenses that I already have.
