Willem Dafoe is Vulko

With the new Justice League set reports we now know Willem Dafoe is Vulco, with that being said, I wonder how large of a role he will have in the movie and if they will stick with the loyal advisor to King Arthur, or go with him betraying Arthur like they did in the throne of atlantis story arc.

Anyway, I also wonder whether he'll be a scientist or solely Arthur's advisor (and perhaps a regent king at some point in the past). I would assume that it depends on how they decide to depict Atlantis or rather its scientific advancement.

The recent Justice League set reports confirmed that Dafoe would be playing an Atlantean named Vulko in the movie, but unfortunately the actor isn't interested in discussing anything related to his role. When asked about that and his co-star, Gal Gadot, he did confirm that he'd already shot some of his scenes and would be returning to film some more at a later date.

"She looks good. (Laughs) I don’t want to talk about that. I’ve got so many movies to talk about. I’ll let them orchestrate the publicity on that movie. I’m happy to be a part of it and when it comes out I’ll be talking about it ad nausea. I shot part of it and I’ll go back and shoot some more. This is a DC Comics ‘Justice League’ movie. Which is shooting now. Too soon to talk about."

I'm not really sure Dafoe will have much screentime as Vulko. I assuming his screentime will be limited to scenes in Atlantis.

Depending on the artist, he can actually look pretty skinny, although half of the time it's just cause of art inconsistencies.

I'm curious to see what his relationship will be like with Arthur. I can see them having a James Bond/Q type friendship where they're always having a go at each other but there's a lot of affection there and the latter is almost like a father to him

Ludi Lin mentioned on Instagram that he has a scene with Willem Defoe which is good because I didn't even know he was in the country. I'm glad someone like Willem is on set to help train younger actors like Ludi

I wouldn't be surprised if he is portrayed like he was in the New 52 and be in the background orchestrating a lot of events, pulling strings, so that the audience is not sure whose side he is on. I think the movie will be a lot like New 52 with all the different factions fighting for power.
