The Chicago CC is in August. I ordered my tickets forever ago but they havent arrived yet, dammit! I guess I'll have to buy them at the convention center.

I bought my 3 day pass and just printed out the tickets instantly. All I need is that and an ID. I'd contact them asap.

I just found out that Stan Lee was going to be at the Pittsburgh Comic Con and I was all excited. Then it said that to just wait in line to meet him you needed to purchase a special ticket...which costs $40. Stan Lee seems like a cool guy and created a lot of great comic characters but he is not worth 40 bucks...and that is on top of paying 18 bucks just to get into the convention. Haha.

RIDICULOUS!!!

So I will just stand from a far and hope I run into him as he's walking to his hotel room or something like I did with Bendis a few years back. All these people waited in line for hours to meet the guy. NOT THIS GUY!

I just hope to find some sweet deals there mainly but they said it's going to be super crowded because of Stan Lee and that upsets me in a way because the awesome thing about the Pittsburgh Con is that it's very laid back and not too overcrowded. Bugs me a little.

I'm going! And getting paid to go! I got hired on as a PA for a buddy's production company so I'll make money walking the floor and helping interview people.

Which just means I'll only slightly go into debt as I've already earmarked a lot of money on convention exclusives. Hell, before I even leave to drive there, I already dropped 200 bucks on the Futurama Bender head thing.

After that I'm going for minimates, Green Lantern figures, and am trying to come up with a good theme for the sketchbook I'm bringing for artists to draw in.
