I can NEVER find a game session going on this. I really want to team up with some other people. :csad:

if i had free time id take you up on that (you on PSN?) but i almost never have a chance to turn on my ps3 anymore.

If anyone with the 360 version doesn't have Juggernaut and wants it, I still have my preorder code. I have no idea if it'll work but if you want it, PM me and I'll give it to you. If I get this game, I'll get it on PS3 since I hate having to buy MS points.

this game severely disappointed me when it came out. I beat it in two days and no reason to come back to it. I still play the first one. The second one (pardon my french) sucks huge donkey ****. I traded it the week after it came out.

After how much I loved Ultimate Alliance 1 I cant believe that I still havent gotten Ultimate Alliance 2

I'm in the same situation, I've beaten MUA at least 15 times and still love the hell out of the game, but I still haven't picked up MUA 2.

I'm in the minority here. But I liked MUA2 more than the first. None of the levels dragged on & the majority of the characters are fun to use.

Same here. MUA1's roster felt like a bunch of clone's. MUA2's felt diverse and different enough that I liked used them all.

I recently picked this game up - about as late to the ballgame as I was with the first one - and I've been enjoying the heck out of it. I needed a break from Reach multiplayer.

Music, art direction - some of the voice acting could be a bit better, but mostly it's just Cap's voice I hate.

Seriously, what's with all the hate I've read for this game?

Regardless, I dl'd the big character pack. Is Juggernaut worth the 160 or so points?

Most of the complaints come from the fact that:

1. They simplified the leveling system, even more so than they did in the last game. Also reduced the amount of attack powers from 5-7 down to 3-4.

2. Its considerablly shorter. If I recall correctly, its about 13 hours or so

3. The story. I think people were expecting something that followed the comic storyline of Civil War. It didnt play that big a role in the game and alot of people were really turned off by twist involving [blackout]RoboFury being the main mastermind behind it all[/blackout]

4. And then there's the fusions which was the primary gimmick behind the game. The advertised and push that there were hundreds of fusion combinations to perform amongst the various characters but as you play you realize that there were only about a dozen or so that were just repeated with different effects

I personally thought it was a better game than the last time and thought the change in developers was a good thing

yeah i was really disappointed with the serious lack of customization compared to the first one. i hated that the boosts were applied to your whole team (regardless of the roster) rather than each character, and they took away all the different power/boost options.

and come on, we go from 4 costumes (with boosts) to two just for show. fusions and ugly cut scenes cant take up that much more disc space can they?

one other thing Id like to add is that I didnt like that you couldnt choose how many people you wanted on your team. Past games you could select 1-4 depending on what you wanted but you could only play with 4 this time around unless you got the rest killed off. I think they said something about they didnt thin about this until late in the development cycle which is why they couldnt implement it. Seemed so simple too, yet they dropped the ball on it. Doesnt take away the fact that it was a good game. It just didnt live up to people's expectations

I maybe in the minority here as I've heard people say they didn't like the story last time around because it was all over the place but I preferred to MUA2.I mean Dr.Doom served as an awesome main villain and I loved actually exploring the entire Marvel universe from Asgard to the Shiar empire.

I think th only reason i preferred the second game is because the visuals were so much better. The first game was flat out ugly.

it was a high res version of the PS2 game with advanced lighting. I originally bought that version as I didnt have a PS3 initially but was unimpressed when I got the PS3 version and it didnt look much better
