Funny thing about the people's elbow: I remember when Rock first started to use it as a heel, and how JR used to ridicule him when Rock would refer to it as "the most electrifying move in sports entertainment." The move started off as a joke, one that perfectly summed up the deluded egomaniac that the Rock had become. That's why I think it's poor form that Rock ousted Punk with it anyway, especially given that it was preceded by a spinebuster rather than a rock bottom.

Haven't really much to say about Rock -v- Cena at mania other than both men need to improve upon last year's feud big time.

As for McMahon's "performance review" of Paul Heyman tonight, it doesn't even make sense. I always saw Heyman as an independent figure, an external agent to represent the likes of Lesnar. So McMahon has no "right" to give Heyman a performance review and if anything, it should be Punk giving it.....which would be a nice way of setting up Lesnar -v- Punk for mania but who the hell am I kidding.

True it will just be another time for McMahon/HHH to belittle Heyman which gets boring really fast.

Exactly, guys. Just another excuse for the Mcmahons to make fun of paul heyman and get off on it. They do hafl the sh** they do to amuse themselves. Even some of the MINO's of the family.

Thank goodness he's back. At least one interesting storyline will be going on in WWE for a month or two. Jericho's creative felixibility means I'm not nearly as sure about what he's going to do or if he's going to win or lose all the time. Thats fun.

If Jericho is a heel then he REALLY needs to work with Del Rio. Del Rio needs Jerichos talent and experience to make him look even better right now.

F4Wonline.com reports that word at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view was that officials were considering a CM Punk vs. The Rock rematch for Elimination Chamber. The original plan was for The Rock to compete in the Chamber match but they may end up changing that.

I hope this is true because I don't think Rock can go that far in a Chamber match and I think Rock and Punk can put together a better match than they did at the Royal Rumble.

I thought it was an average PPV with the highlight being the return of Jericho.

The Cena victory was so predictable as everyone has mentioned. I don't get why he is pushed so hard. It's obvious that the crowd is even more against him now. Maybe the negative reactions are what the WWE is wanting at this point for a future heel turn...which would probably be the best thing for Cena at this point.

Good to see The Rock won. Very predictable as well. The Rock's promo was full of energy. Why didn't Punk have a promo?

I would also have liked to see Punk put up more of a fight after the lights went out.

I hope Cena vs Rock at Wrestlemania is a triple threat match with someone else added to the match because if not it will suck hard.

Punk has a rematch clause right? Hopefully it ends up as a triple threat with Punk winning after pinning Dwayne and Cena snapping because Punk does what he couldn't in pinning Rock. But I expect we get a clean Cena victory and a hand hake to end the show while the NY crowd bos the crap out the ending

I enjoyed the PPV. The Rumble match was good bar Cena winning! I would have loved to have seen Ziggler win it and being MITB and RR winner at once! It was nice to see some old faces and I hope they are setting up a Goldust/Cody match at WM29.

Nice to see the Rock as champion again (always was my favorite as a kid) but I just hope that Punk isn't left out of the title picture at Mania...it needs him in it for it not to be a rehash of last year.

Cena MUST turn heel now, it's the only way they can get away with this...it's like they want everyone to boo him!

I guess the positive with Dwayne as Champ is he can do the public appearances that he thought Punk couldn't do...

I'm not so sure the new belt will debut tonight. April 29th is a Monday and is the 50th anniversary of the WWE title, so that may be a better bet. The WWE have often taken their time in debuting their new belts, for example, they had the new Gladiator-esque tag title belts in their possession for about a year before debuting them.

Yeah. Though I think Punk said they were re-doing it, as the new one was said to be heavier than the Spinner. I also heard that if those pics hadn't of leaked back in the summer, that the new belt would have likely been on tv by now. Maybe they got cold feet, and decided to re-tweak it.

If Punk loses his rematch at the chamber its kinda pointless. But there's no way he'd regain the belt either. Thats just makes Rocks win last night an even dumber waste of time.

Its just a clusterf*** as far as Punk's spot in the main event right now.

This also does NOTHING for Cena. If he wins the title at Mania older anti Cena/Attitude Era marks will just hate on him even harder. So how does all this help him? Going over Rock will not matter at that point. Cena's already getting hate for winning the Rumble even though Hogan and Austin and Michaels all have more than one Rumble win. It'll only be magnified if he closes out Mania as champion yet again.

Its ridiculous that some people are complaining about the same old stuff with Cena winning yet again when Rock winning the title last night means he's just as guilty of a lot of the same things: the same old tired faces in the main event instead of new ones. A guy winning big who DOES NOT NEED IT. The double standard is hilarious.

I kind also think they should turn Cena heel but the ONLY way Cena gets the most out of this is if he turns heel and beats the Rock CLEAN then makes him look like a b*** on the way out. There's no way Cena should be the usual chickensh** heel in this situatuion.

Cena turning heel and being forced to CHEAT to beat the Rock at Mania only makes him look even LESS like Rocks equal. Its just not right to essentially make him look inferior to the Rock three years/three Wresltemanias in a row.

Id love a Del Rio/Jericho/Ziggler triple threat for the WHC if the WWE title match isn't a triple threat. It would be easy to tie the three of them together in a program. Theres little chance of that happenign though.

That's because all the recent belts have been designed by a WWE in-house team with no real experience in designing championship belts, these are then sent to the beltmakers to create. They can only do what they have been asked and given. All the previous belts were designed by the beltmakers and their designers, and the difference in comparison is huge.

Absolutely. You mean the Winged Eagle, right? The Big Eagle is the 'Attitude Era' belt.

The World Heavyweight title 'Big Gold' design is probably as prestigious and highly regarded as the Winged Eagle belt of the Hogan and Bret Hart days. Although it was WCW's primary title belt until their demise, it began it's run back in the 80's in the NWA when Ric Flair introduced it, so it's legacy far exceeds just being the 'WCW' belt'. I can't see them tampering with that one, don't think Hunter would even entertain the idea.

I have no idea but one thing I do know is WWE doesn't care too much about having great anniversary celebrations or anniversaries that make sense. We saw that with Raw's 20th anniversary.

This is also the same company that promoted Wresltmania 25 as "The twenty fifth anniversary of Wrestlemania. Thats like promoting Wrestlemania 1 and the FIRST anniversary of Wrestlemania.
