The Winter Soldier Captain America 2: News and Speculation - - - - - - Part 19

A Sharon Carter One-Shot would be cool to see. She could be taking revenge on a blacklist of Hydra Agents that Ultron gives her.
An Emily VanCamp character taking revenge on a blacklist? I like where your head's at. :awesome:

Does anyone know what scenes were cut from the movie?

I mean scenes--not individual lines.

thanks

the Russos said there were only few minutes cut, the only one they commented about: there is one with Fury and Natasha talking about why he didn´t "trust her" his major plan and they sort of make amends with each other.
But I´m sure there is at least one or two more, aside from that one.

I wonder who is making the commentaries, probably the directors, I would love it with Anthony Mackie, because he is hilarious :woot:

They really should do a cast commentary - though I'm not sure if anyone would get in a word in around Mackie. :woot:

Logistically it's probably hard to do though especially with Chris & Scarlett working on AoU. I'd settle though for the writers Marcus & Feely - they're funny and have great insights and I don't think they get enough credit for their wonderful script.

Well, commentaries don't really take much time. It takes up a single afternoon.

And I think DVD commentaries are recorded well in advance, anyway, sometimes before theatrical release, even.

Marcus and McFeely would be legend, and they'd have everything I look for in commentary. But Mackie vs Jackson would be epic, too.

Bucky's not a villain but The Winter Soldier sure as heck is - even if he's a mind controlled one.

I love The Blu Ray/DVD trailer for TWS but he one for the Avengers is just epic.

GOTG isn't out yet

I know - that's why I said it's strange they don't wait for the poll instead of stating:

NOTE: I am aware Guardians of the Galaxy has not come out yet, but since I don't think even Marvel considers that really to be a superhero movie....

Besides, we can always create a new thread come August if people really want to compare it with the others.

C'mon man, they didn't do a series based on Item 47. More like they did an Agents of SHIELD show starring Coulson.

no, it was about how people and SHIELD saw the world in a new light after the avengers became public and the events of new york transpired.
plus what BullM mentioned after me..:yay:

Those of you still looking for the Winter Soldier group Poster. Walmart finally has the group poster without the Credits and movie Logo

Re-watched CATFA the other day

When Bucky rescues Steve in the alley, Rogers asks "where are we going?", to which Bucky replies "the future"

I wonder if they put those lines on purpose, because it's very foreshadowing

It's a great line and I think it was definitely purposeful foreshadowing.

It's also wonderful how the same NY World's Fair Flushing Meadows Park grounds are used in CATFA and Iron Man II. We see Howard in CATFA with his Technology Of The Future exhibit at the Fair and the recorded scene in of his City Of The Future exhibit in 1970s as it becomes The Stark Expo and Tony continuing it there in Iron Man II.

yup

Another foreshadow-y line is "I'm invisible. I'm turning into you. It's like a horrible dream." Helpfully demonstrated with gifs here:

:( Not to mention all of the inverted parallels this movie did comparing to scenes in TFA. Bucky and Steve standing across from each other in the helicarrier like they did in the Hydra factory, Steve falling from the helicarrier as Bucky watches vs Bucky falling from the train as Steve watches... Steve volunteering and being assisted out of that super-soldier-making machine vs Bucky being forced and strapped down. These movies really care a lot about symmetry and symbolism and it's perfect to me. We're going to have an amazingly cohesive trilogy once we've gotten around to Ca3.

Can't believe the Raid remake is still happening. :csad:
