Sequels Creatives for the MCU X-men

It's very funny that the same users that don't wanna Singer for his bad allegations, have so love for Disney.

Wtf are you talking about? :whatever: Disney the company isn't facing any sexual assaults right now. The fact that you are saying this is asinine.

Like who are in their right mind is willing to hire a director with so many allegations? Especially with the #metoo going on in Hollywood.

- Russos
- Noah Hawley
- Christopher McQuarrie
- Duffer Brothers
- Tim Miller
- Rick Famuyiwa
- Soska Sisters

The female characters have been treated like garbage in Singerverse, so I'd love to see a woman directing the X-Men movies with female characters as leads.

The Soska's are in fact big X-Men fans. We also have:

- Emily Carmichael (Marvel fan and cosplayer).

- Reed Morano (showed interest in directing Captain Marvel)

No reason not to have a female director with a predominant female cast

I don't know if anyone watched Raw last year but it was one of my favorite films. Julia Ducournau would be an awesome, the way she used cannibalism as an allegory to losing ones innocence and coming of age was nothing short of brilliant and original.

I'd love to see her take on the students of the Xavier her school.

Walt Disney. Nazi and mysogenist

Hi everyone, who would you like to see direct the x-men when they return to marvel?

Just saw Get Out and I think Peele would be amazing. He has commercial success with discussing ackward relations regarding to minorities and he can have a laugh which marvel likes. My favourite is ava duverney though. That bridge scene in Selma is like a perfect audition tape for actions scenes for the x-men.

And I would love it if Alllen Heinberg wrote it. He did such a great job with Wonder Woman and he can write women especially well which I think were overdue for with the xmen

Peele will not work well under MCU. Like many directors he will leave during production due to creative differences. Peele will never go along with the marvel formula, he values his craft way too much. And for a series like X-Men that is usually very thematic, Peele will want to be in charge.

Get out was a horror movie that also dealt deeply with the subject matter of racism, so we have a New Mutants and X2 movie here, both movies I mentioned, MCU will never have made them. so Peele is out , same with many other artistic driven directors.

I think I will make a prediction that the first director of MCU X-Men movie will leave in the middle of the project due to creative differences. My guess will be because he or she wanted a X2/Logan/TDK tone movie which is more true to X-Men and MCU wanted their usual comedy silly tone, so he/she will leave.

Ava Duverney was suppose to be the oringal director for Black Panther but she turned it down because she wanted something actually authentic and MCU said no to that. Marvel just wanted their usual cgi generic action movie

awful.

Like the three Gambit directors that left the project?

Like Fox not even paying someone good enough to direct Dark Phoenix? You know Simon Kinberg is directing it because he took a paycut right?

Absolutely not. The x-men should be about hope

What do you mean exactly? X-men is a pretty dark property with mature themes. Nolan works well with these elements. I don't get this vague hope notion. Isn't that superman's thing?

The Duffers brothers would be a good choice as well, indeed.

The xmen have encountered hardships and definitely stuff has gotten real but the general premise is they keep getting up and giving it another go. They don't just scowl and get grumpy.

I want a hopeful director. Nolan is great for batman and his indie stuff but not for xmen

Then a definite no to him! That's one of the things I'm most keen on, seeing a proper xmen that embrace their superherodom.

Plus magneto effing up the avengers etc etc

What about Guillermo del Toro? He and Neil Gaiman pitched Doctor Strange to Marvel, perhaps he'd like to do the X-Men.

actually I think Guillermo was asked about X-Men years ago, and he said that he's more interested in the monsters movies and dark fantasy, criatures and the like.

he would do an awesome job with characters like Beast, Nightcrawler, Blink and co, but this doesnt sound like a property he'd join, sadly.

Hm now that Ava has been snapped up for new Gods there goes my top pick for the xmen director. Damn what a shame because she was my fave. No other ideas right yet but I definitely don’t want an established director

That irony isn't lost on me either.

Also doesn't Michael Douglas have allegations. Everyone boycott his movies! Wait what film is he starring in this year?

Her latest film A Wrinkle in Time isn't even good.
