I wonder why he’s behaving like this now. It was kinda funny at first but after seeing and reading more it’s a little odd and unprofessional. Oscar Isaac didn’t enjoy making X-men Apocalypse but never went to these lengths to dump all over it. The dude is a consummate professional.

I know JB feels sour about just how poorly written and wasted his character was but come on man, there are literally millions struggling out there to make a living and this guy has a net worth of $6 mill. It’s ok to be critical and disgruntled against the way things go in a movie; but he seems to be overdoing it here

There's A LOT of Finn material that needs to be explored. I really had NO idea how much interesting stuff was canon about Finn. I was throwing around some fan fic about how Finn was an exceptionally skilled Storm Trooper that just didn't have killer instinct, and then I find out that's it's all canon.

What frustrates me is that we never see him display any tactical, shooting or combat skills. Even when he beats the "TRAITOR!" Storm trooper he seems to do it in a panicked fashion with no confidence.

I'd like an offshoot movie that largely explore how his upbringing and train was like in the 1st Order. Then of course a detailed look into military life.

Teenagers. He's sinking to the level of teenagers and it's not a good look. Especially since he pissed off his own fans, but now is going after Reylos. It's baffling.

I fully support John Boyega treating Reylo as a piñata and Reylo backlash against him as an infection to be mocked.

“Reylo” was trash by the end of TROS.

The individuals who complained about him talking about the films the way a bunch of Reylo fans do, but from an anti-Reylo perspective, crossed a whole bunch of lines and acted as hypocrites.

He’s had to deal with racism that it appears LFL gradually gave into to some extent, for a plotline that ultimately screwed over his character, Ridey’s character, and even Driver’s to an extent, and the entire Sequel Trilogy.

As far as I’m concerned, he’s reacting the right way.

He seemed like the biggest fan of the whole cast. And this film continues to tease his potential. Sigh. What a shame.

Let’s play a game of what’s more illogical:

Would a god-tier Jedi female that appears to be in here early twenties rather be in a relationship with;

A) A guy that tried to kill her multiple times and then inexplicably also died to save her life.

OR

B) A guy with zero personality, who likes her for absolutely no reason, and who she’s spent very little time with and who never has anything of substance to say or do.

I’m no Dr. Phil but relationships in either of those contexts is kind of dysfunctional and stupid.

The people who expressed disappointment about his joke were his own fans.

That video that JB posted didn't have screenshots of racist posts. He targeted Reylos for some reason. I absolutely believe he's gotten hate and racism since he got cast, but this crap for the last 2 weeks has been targeted at a specific fan group because of a joke.

I get that he's probably pissed about what Disney did to his character, but this isn't the way to go.

But I do think it’s creepy when it gets into shipping real people who aren’t together. Some people go way OTT and even hate on people’s real significant others because they’re not who you they’re “supposed” to be with.

I agree shipping real people is inappropriate and gross, so I can see Boyega getting mad if people said he had a crush on Daisy but what I don't understand about his behavior is why he zeroed in on Reylo of all things. Like, that didn't even concern him. Why not rally alongside Isaac for his distaste against them NOT doing FinnPoe?

I felt bad for Finn his story in this movie was how to make it into the friend zone and lose your story and what makes you interesting all in one movie.

Mad as JB is, he isn't the one who was treated the worst in the ST.
Adam Driver had his role drastically reduced in TROS, despite as the last real descendant of the OT, so that Abrams and Terrio could push Daisy Ridley. The way his character was treated in the final act of the film is frankly astonishing. He was a metaphorical organ donor for the writers Mary Sue heroine. How it's being described in the companion novel is even more ludicrous.....Ben Solo dies so he can 'give Rey back to the galaxy'. Nauseating.
Domhnall Gleeson, despite major roles in the first two films, was killed off so his role could go to Richard E Grant.
Kelly Tran, who had a major role in TLJ, was reduced to less screen time than the CGI footage of Leia.
None of these actors behaved like Boyega, despite having far more reason to be angry.
Boyega is acting like a ten year old . He needs to grow up.
