Imagine this - Leto films only a flashback scene with Ben revealing the whole Robin death story. With a pre-grill/damaged Joker, and a now-svelte, pre-BvS BatFleck. More of the classic/"younger" take on both characters. That almost makes me moist in the nethers...

Yea Jett can kind of troll others with his hate for the SnyderVerse which is annoying, I only share this tweet of his because he def seems to be on a streak lately. I hope either the SnyderVerse continues on HBO max or Batfleck gets his solo shot. Jett will prolly moan some more but just more BatContent for meeee!

I can only hope that at the very least Snyder tones him down or has him act a bit differently.

Snyder and "tone down" aren't really things that go together.

I think we're gonna get a very overly brutal sequence of the Joker beating a kid with a crowbar to a horrifying degree. It's going to have no self awareness of how it's really coming off because Snyder is too busy trying to make something really dramatic but over does it because his style is so inherently over the top.

You don’t have to tone anything down about his joker, but you can use that energy to better fit the character into the universe of Snyder’s 5 film arc as opposed to whatever Ayer was trying to go for.

He was only just about right. Just his sources were more wrong than "thiccc" Grace.

Because of BvS Bruce & Robin suit, Bat in Ayer's SS and some rumours about pre-GJohn rewrite, Snyder/Terrio script that maybe hinted at Joker, it could have been conceivable thar Snyder had Joker in JL at some point afterall along with Darkseid, Desaad, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Atom, et al.

That’s fair it was an odd choice with the tats and grill. What’s annoying is Leto could easily pull off the BTAS Joker look or even The Dark Knight Returns Joker.

I really hope he is similar to Returns' Joker.

Thing is, I'm not sure if just a week of additional filming would be enough to accommodate all of that.
