Thanks to everyone who voted for me for this. It’s a massive honour to be said to have any similarity to Vartha who was the best of us. All of my interactions with him were always positive and so much fun and he brought pleasure to people’s lives every time he posted. This was such a good idea for an award to honour his name and also reward posters for following in his behaviour.
I got the first special mention from flick - that counts as another 6 awards by itself so looks like I sweep 2020.
Thanks y'all. 2020 was...rough. And certainly the year I spent more time on the Hype than ever before, so it's nice to know I didn't wear out my welcome, lol. I'm humbled and so grateful. Congrats to all the other winners, all extremely well-deserved. @Iceman , I voted for you for that Vartha award and believe me when I say I can't think of anyone who deserves it more. And a special shoutout to my own personal 2020 Hype MVP's, @Lily Adler and @Snow Queen . Congrats on those wins, ladies. You earned 'em! I voted DK for poster of the year 2020 as well as a bunch of other awards and he’s been a great in areas all over the forum in a stellar year. Of course far for important than poster of the year was the award for his Kitchen thread! And I must also remember to congratulate @InCali for his Jimmy Olsen 15% contribution to the thread’s greatness.
This is a travesty. @Pineapple Pizza beats COVID any day of the year.
