There was not a single thing that could have been cut for this movie. The full 3 hours were completely necessary. If anything, I would have added an additional 15 minutes to third act.
Yea not gonna get many reactions with this type of movie. My crowd clapped at the end of viewing 1 and I heard a lot of positive chatter leaving the theater. Viewing 2 was dead silent the whole time.
Even better on the second viewing since my mind was racing a million miles an hour.
I think I can definitely rank this #2 on the Batman films list and Pattinson is the #1 Batman.
As someone who didn’t watch the final trailers/clips/TV spots, I just watched them now to see how much they have away. Jeeeeez. Glad I didn’t. 95% of the best scenes were in the trailers. WB didn’t save much for the movie
The entire Ridler plot worked for me. Loved how Bruce thought Ridler had his identify figured out, which is why he messed up and didn't fully uncover the plan initially in fear for having his identify uncovered. In the end Riddler actually had no idea who he was.
Easy 9/10. Incredible pacing for a 3 hour movie where every scene matters. It is a nice change of pace from the Comic Book Films we typically see in 2022. They cared about character/story over skeptical/pointless CGI action.
