Filming in Italy in the next days:

The Marvels: riprese a Tropea dal 27 agosto – Lo Spazio Bianco

According to Corriere della Calabria, the production of The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson, will move to Tropea in the coming days. The website of the Calabrian newspaper highlights that the inspections for the shooting are already underway and that the work will start from 27 August. It is not known if Larson will take part in the filming, which has been taking place in England for a few weeks, or if any other cast member will be present.

I hope it's not Amadeus Cho. I don't want 6 Hulks running around in the MCU, which is what we are going to get if we get Cho, Skaar (rumored in She Hulk), Thunderbolt Ross becoming Red Hulk and Betty Ross becoming Red She Hulk.

There's also a chance he's a minor character that we never see again after this film

While I am not buying him as Cho just yet...

Let's just consider a few things we know:

Banner/Hulk is still invoved with the Avenger's group and according to the Shang Chi mid creds, he's doing so in concert with Carol Danvers. So Cho being in TMs as Cho as part of that connection on some level doesn't seem impossible.

That said... I would more than likely think that he's playing some MCU version of an alien based character.

if he's Cho, that only elevates my main issue with the MCU: too many characters with the same power sets. I'd rather we don't see Amadeus Cho until Banner, Thunderbolt Ross (if he's Red Hulk) and Abomination are gone.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that Cho if used automatically assumes he's destined in the MCU to become Gammafied in anyway much less soon out the gate.


To my mind the best use of Cho was as simply the plucky young genius who sees the angles others don't with guts and determination to take on whatever task he's set for himself regardless of the odds.

Why jump to replacement Hulk as the way to use such a character, if Cho is even going to show up at all?

This is interesting. An interview with Victoria Alonso on a argentinian Radio. She said is in LOndon for the filming of The Marvels, and they are shooting act 2 of the movie:
