Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

I'm pretty sure the last shot with the whip is a stunt double (in the distant shot). Which makes me think, if he can't do that, I wonder how badly is it gonna be the rest of the movie. I mean, that seems like something Harrison Ford could easily do.

so are they going to talk about why marion ravenwood and mutt williams are not in this?

I don’t think he shot anyone in the last film. He maybe used it once to scare off that cemetery guardian, so I can see Disney just wanting to eliminate it completely lol

loving how awesome young Indy looks in some of those shots.

He did injure his shoulder during shooting. He might not have been able to do that scene because of that, not because he's so tired he can't swing a CGI whip.

Ahhh I didn't know that. Makes sense then.

Must be frustrating having to deal with all this crap.

I'm pretty sure Marion will be in it. I doubt Shia LaBeouf will be making a cameo but there'll probably be a wave of the hand reference in passing as to why Mutt isn't around.

great!
i'd love to see karen allen return.

yea, can just say shia's mutt williams is off on the other side of the world doing his own adventure or something :funny:

Trailer is awesome! Same one showed at D23 but nice to finally have a good quality version

De-aged Indy looks amazing :wow:

So apparently George Lucas saw a recent cut of the movie and was so impressed that he requested to be brought in as executive producer. The source is the same person who leaked the title last week.

Well that confirms it:

Time travel is in this movie. :funny:

Isn't she namedropped in the official synopsis?

I'm guessing we'll have a few scenes with her at the beginning and end of the movie.

When you do none of the work in the group project and still get the credit. :funny:

Not sure but when I looked it up all I saw were reports of Karen Allen keeping quiet on whether Marion was back.

I’m pretty sure at least Marion is in this. There were rumours that both her and sallah would feature in the movie and then sallah was confirmed to be true. Karen Allen also just did an interview where she was asked about it and dodged the question completely and said she can’t say anything. Shia will probably get a throwaway reference at most though lol

My guess is Marion will bookend the movie with her being with indy before he leaves for his adventure and then there at the end with him. It would be cool if she got something fun to do though

I can't believe that Harrison was already old in the first Indy movie.

The trailer was amazing and some of the best de-aging I've seen.

This also looks more in vein and atmosphere with the first 3 films and less with KOTC - which is a good thing. None of the overly digital, yellowish and shiny cinematography that Kaminski went with in that film (which he did in Minority Report too). Changing the cinematographer was the right choice.

And in Mangold we trust.
