I am definitely not a fan of Charlotte Flair for quite a few reasons, one being that she's always been uber protected and gotten mega pushes but still complains over any slight detail she doesn't like and she's obviously not a fan of putting over other girls. That said, I do believe she is the greatest women's wrestler of all-time... in ring... work rate... A caveat to that is that I believe that women's wrestling is still pretty much in it's infancy in terms of the mainstream wrestling television product. So her being the greatest ever, probably won't last all that long since there hasn't been the long history that the men have had.
So with this Becky/Charlotte thing, I'm definitely not surprised to learn that she's becoming a problem backstage. For one, again, she's very protective of herself because WWE has always given her the keys to the Women's Division so that's spoiled her. Her Dad isn't a great influence because he was a selfish overrated "go into business for himself" type that refused to do jobs and complain when things didn't go his way and has also been complaining about Charlotte's booking for years behind the scenes despite her being mega pushed her whole career. Combine that with the, unsurprisingly, lazy booking of swapping the belts and let's face it, Becky becoming a bit of a mark for herself too since her big rise to fame and this was just a set up for failure.
At the end of the day though, it's Vince's fault for booking this dumb segment, which could have easily been avoided in a million different ways. Like, ending the horrible brand split, or at least merging the women's and tag divisions since it's spread too thin for there to be 2 world belts for either Division. Or the even simpler route of just having Becky and Charlotte drop the belts to Bianca and Sasha since they were going the correct ways in the Draft, and then just having one or both of them win them back at some point if he feels it's that necessary for Flair and Becky to be Champions. We all know Charlotte needs 4 more reigns to tie Daddy that they've been working towards for years now anyway...
